LOL We do communion too every Sunday... our time of "reflection" is actually usually a series of drama's our church hires out to put on for the church family. It goes through the life, death and resurection of Jesus... so you really get a feel for what it's all about. :) I actually really love this time of year... it makes me stop and think about how much God gave up... sending his first and only son to die.... for me. Our pastor did a series on that this month, and he really drove home that thought... could you give up your child... for someone who's done so much wrong? Give up someone so innocent... for someone so guilty. For a world of guilt. My goodness. Gives me goosebumps every time. :o

Our worship service is fairly simple actually; we seek to walk in the footsteps of the New Testament church. We sing acappella, which I love...and reflect on the sacrifice of Christ during our communion time.

I fight feelings of inadequacy sometimes with that. How in the world could I ever deserve something so huge?! But then i realize... I don't. And I can't. It's not possible. Accepting grace is humbling. But to do is... is a weight lifted.

Anyway... lol... sorry if that's too much info for some of you. :o

We found a church in NY that we both really like. I love the priest. He always starts his homily with a joke/story and then explains why the readings are relavent to our lives today. Unfotunetly since I started working at Bath and Body I have to work almost every Sunday and we aren't able to make it to church that often.

I love acappella. So beautiful... I'm more touched by music most often than anything else.

My mom calls me Tammy (her sister) all the time...I just stand and stare at her until she realizes what she called me. They always make fun of my Grandma because they said when they were little and she was mad she would go through all the kids names....if it included the dogs name they knew she was really mad.:lol:

:lol: :lol: :lol: I remember my mom calling me the cat's name one time... she was SO mad at me. I just stared at her and then we both started laughing. :lol: Got me off the hook that time. ;)

I haven't called the dog name yet but the girls just look and laugh. Which makes me all the madder.:lol: and then they say "Roll call"

I never got off the hook. My mom always caught on what we were doing.:lol:
