We have that rule here too. Sounds silly, but apparently it's to avoid lawsuits over food poisoning and what-not. Frankly I trust what I bake more than what the grocery store does, but they don't see it that way.

I think because of the way things are these days you never know who is baking things and what they will put in them...It is so sad..but its for the safety of the kids....

Thats it Dana. They can't even eat them is class in the last 15 minutes. They hand them out as they are walking out the door. so the parents can see that they are eating something with sugar in it.:hammer:

The only thing that makes sense is restricting what's brought in because of students' allergies or intolerances, but I agree with you - I trust myself more than I would a store.

That is me also and besides that it is cheaper. I hate spending 5 to 8 dollars for a dozen cupcakes and of course they always need at least 2 dozen.
