Woah, all these discussions about housing are interesting. I plan to move to Florida upon graduation from school (December 2007) and I'm a little scared about making it on my own. Yeah I plan to work for Disney and I'm trying to get in contact with people who can take me in as a roommate. But I'm still nervous about being able to live off of a single salary.
 hi Rachel.
I had no problems finding roommates the summers that I spent down there. And it really does help to have them in order to be able to survive on a single Disney salary.

Hi all! I'm only here for a minute, but I have to go pick up Abby...
All the talk about housing has me convinced, despite the winters, that we'll never leave Ohio! We just refinanced our house last summer at $185,000, and it's a 3 BR, 2 1/2 Ba on about a half acre. It's a blue collar community, but the school district is very good (even though there will be levy on the ballot in May  ). Our development is on the higher end, our house is 20+ years, but there are newer homes on the other side of the hill that are for sale for $500,000.

Hello my dear!
What did you think of Idol last night? :hurl:
How did you really feel about it, Freddie? I thought it was pretty blah. I did think the beatbox guy was really good...reminded me of Coldplay. They who looks like Jack Osbourne was good. And even though he was just ok, I liked Jared. :slurp:

I thought last night was horrific.
I mean, it wasn't just bad, it was awful. (Wow. How Simonish was that?)
Even though I can't stand him, I really loved Blake's performance. He was by far the best one.
Although, I did sorta like Chris Sligh's and Phil's performances. (Phil did butcher the first part of that song, though.)

its all relative though, what you and Marc make in Baltimore is probably more than I do in 2 years... so it evens out I guess.
Hurricane Ivan wiped out our housing supply and the prices went through the roof. Now they are coming back down since nobody is buying. Our problem is Insurance, if you can get it, its outrageous, I haven't been nailed yet but they are doing it by zipcode and proximity to the water. I am about 700 yards from the water! NOT GOOD!

yes... but you're 700 yards from the WATER. Around these parts you can't get within eyesight of water without putting a 7 figure price tag on it - and that even goes for the dumpy falling down places that are 60 years old.

Being by the water is nice, I will admit... until there is a storm, then its exciting! Then the storm goes away and you have to clean, that is the not fun part!

Hopefully the girls are better tonight...
