Center For Autism Related Disorders..... because she is hypersocial they won't take her into their program, they say she doesn't have autism even though her neurologist has diagnosed her....it's a load of ****

I just went to their website - they are very pro-ABA aren't they? ABA has its place, but there are other methods that can be very effective as well, they just don't have as much documentation as ABA claims to have. Joel's teacher uses a lot of the elements of TEACCH, with ABA's method of documentation.
By the time they get around to researching other things, our kids will be grown up!
