*~*~* MJ's Chatter Boxes *~*~*

Kids will make things more fun around there.

I don't know if things can get more interesting around here

Right now the cat is chasing her tale and everyone once and awhile she runs up and down the hallway and growls (I really don't think normal cats make that noise)

The cleaning help definetly sounds like a good thing....bring on the babies

Somethings you just can't change. And that may well be one of them.
One thing I have learned over the years is to pick my battles. Things that would have me constantly nagging and maybe even yelling years ago, just don't seem that important anymore.
That's basically because we're old and senile now....

Well - I'm off to shop for things to put in the crockpot.....:fork: , the back to baking. Have a great day everyone, and Happy Anniversary Dot!

I have been trying so hard to pick my battles...I don't want to be nagging and yelling all the time, but sometimes it just all builds up inside and everything flies out at once.

That is sooo true. Bob is a very good husband. I don't agree with him all the time but I do agree with him on a lot of things. We are pretty honest with each other.:animwink:

I really think most marriages start out that way. Anger is always closer to the surface. Learning to control that, choosing when it's best to just let something go, and most importantly, learning to talk things out and reach a compromise. . .that all comes with time and effort on both sides. Marriage takes work, but when it's right, it's so worth it!

How does trick or treat work were everyone else lives??

At home it is usually the Thursday before Halloween between certain times...I called a friend last night to ask her when it is around here because I wondered if I needed to run out and get some candy last night. She was very confused and said that where she is from you just went whenever you wanted to go....I had never heard of that before.

Wow I never heard of Trick or Treating being on any other night except Halloween itself. In our old neighborhood, we would sit out on the front steps, bundled up if it was cold, and give out tons of candy to hundreds of kids! We loved it! Since we moved into our condo complex, we have been disappointed that there is no Trick or Treating here (very few little children here), but we do have a trick or treat party at our Rec Center for the little ones on Sunday afternoon and a Halloween party for the adults on Saturday night.
On Halloween itself, we go to our daughter's house and give out candy to the nieghborhood kids. We love that!
Halloween also happens to be our younger daughter Stacey's birthday, so it has always been a special holiday for us!

One of my friends from PA school had a Halloween birthday too....one year we all went to South Street to celebrate. Boy did we get quite the show when we got there

Gonna go check out the kitchen now and see if there are any other dirty dishes lurking in the cabinets.
Talk to you all later!
Bye!

Nibbles on the photo contests is it okay to have pictures of our kids on Disney outfits at home or does it have to be at the parks? I might not have read it in the photo post for Holloween. Did I miss that.

It wasn't included...but I've included it now! Thanks for the suggestion Susan. Didn't think of it.
