No, not just getting home :D

I got lucky,I left at 3:30...but only because I asked to leave.

I had a little mishap earlier in the evening with a Pumpkin candle. We have these shadow boxes outside of the store that display product. I was helping someone change the products and there was an open candle in one of them.....well the light in the box completely melted the candle so when I went to move it it basically exploded on my. I ended up with Pumpkin candle wax all over me...after a couple of hours the smell was making me sick and the wax was making me itch.

Oh dear.
We could stick a wick in you and light you.
The thread would smell very cozy. :)

Everyone kept telling me not to go near an open flame. As much as I used to love the smell of that candle....I don't think I'll be burning mine anytime soon.

No it didn't burn....it was very warm and sticky. I made quite a mess in the walkway at the mall.

Poor Chrissy.
Wax can be such a problem to clean up.

Hi everyone! Haven't had time to check in till now. Took the kids to school, then spent the morning laminating things for the teachers. I have about two weeks to get things done around the house before we start packing for WDW, so things are CRAZY! :hammer:
I want to sleep - Joel and I are both sick with head colds, and he doesn't want to eat anything. Like I have time to be sick right now....oh well.
*Rant over* Hope everyone is having a good day!

That's great that you are leaving so soon. How many kids do you have, and how old (I'm sorry if I'm being nosy, but I just love kids. I guess that comes from working at Disney and being the 2nd oldest of 8 kids).

Well, I officially have classes for next semester. The definite classes are: ANTH 120- Native North Americans, CMPT 109- a basic computer class, HIST 118- History of US since 1876, MATH 106- contemporary applied math for everyone (:hurl: ), RELG 100- religions of the world, and ENFL 208- introduction to the film. So that will be my life come January 16.:( How is everyone else doing?

Luckily our stock boys cleaned up the mall area for me....I'm just not quite sure how to clean up my clothes. There is a lot of wax on my shirt and some splatters on my pants and my shoes.
Try freezing them, then you might be able to peel it off. Either that, or pour boiling water through them......

For the clothing. . .
Put a towel over the splattered areas and run a hot iron over the towel. The heat will melt the wax into the towel and off of your clothes!
Not sure how to get it off of your shoes, though.

Pant, Pant.....I've been doing a lot of cleaning lately and I made 2 5 Chees Chicken Broccoli Rice Casseroles....

I am pooped.

Do you think you could just zip on up to NY and help me clean up my house? I would be happy to entertain MJ :D

We have company coming tomorrow and I have a lot of work to do before then...unfortunetly I have to work today at 3 and I don't plan on being home before midnight.

So it's back to reality for Joanna! :(
But think of the memories you've made!

I have a daughter in 4th grade who is 9 and my son is 4, almost 5, and attends an integrated preschool at the same elementary. He seemed well enough to go today (no fever), but I think it wiped him out!
Wow - family of 8. Sounds like my dad's family, only it was all boys! My grandma was an amazing lady - even kept her sense of humor .
So, Joanna, you're a CM at the Magic Kingdom? Maybe we'll see you in a couple of weeks! We'll be there the last two days of November!

That can be almost as lethal!
How about beer after paint brushes?

Yeah...I think that's the plan.

I don't think it would have quite the same effect if What's-His-Face did. :lookaroun

Ooh...he'd look awful cute with those bunny ears on his head! :D
