No Rick she wasn't playing, but she also doesn't understand that it hurts and not to do it.....she doesn't feel pain like you and I do, so she doesn't understand that she is inflicting it, she also can't read facial cues or understand feelings, it makes teaching her not to do this kind of stuff almost impossible....

This morning, we are taking the lights done (Christmas lights) and she is helping me (which means ride her trike on the sidewalk while I work) but never the less, we are having a good time.... Well, she is gone for a few minutes and I go to look for her in the garage, she comes out with 2 popsicle.... (Its 9 in the morning) and she says all excited, Daddy, I found, one for you and one for me, we can eat them on the porch.."

I took a break, we had popsicles at 9 in the morning! Its been a Good Day.

I know, it's so sad...she was gorgeous. I just saw a recent picture of her this week and she looks really, really awful....scary even

Shame, isn't it.
It started with the hair. Remember how she was always wearing it in a constant messy state? That went on for quite some time. Then she sort of disappeared for a while. Now, she's hardly recognizable as the same person. Her mouth is really strange. . .and she looks soooo much older.

What does Mailani mean?

It means Sent From Heaven in Hawaiian. WE chose it after we lost Cody and then found out that we were getting MJ and that we couldn't lose her (the sate was essentially taking her from the birthmother, so it was us of foster care...)
