That you do. I could survive without the ladies up front! They are my "work nannies"

Were looking for a office admin here in Sunny, Close to Disney, NW Florida!!!

Have fun, talk to you in a bit

"Work Nanny"....I like that! :D

I come in and everyone leaves. Oh well I will be just like Rick yesterday.

LALALALALALa How are you today Susan?

Hey, Susie! :sohappy:

Um...I think these particular threads have been going of for a little over a year. Before that, everyone used to hang out hard core in the *huggle* thread.

Hiya Nibbs!

Hey y'all, still trying to catch up (probably won't happen) so I am popping in to say hi. MJ is still asleep worn out from yesterday. We had a great visit with Marc and Krystyna (I'll download pics in a bit) they are going to try and come by later in the week for a shopping excursion. MJ was so sad when they had to leave She was so excited to find out che was getting a little cousin (she spent a lot of the day patting Krystyna's tummy and saying *baby* she also gave the baby his/her first pin (one of the pixie dust pins)

Hey Bonny! Can't wait to see the pics, glad you all had such a nice time :)

I had just found it also. I hope it wasn't there all this time and I just found it.:o

I just found it too! Sort of stalkerish

Im scared..:)

Hi Dana!

Jenny, my wife is a full time stay at home mom who is 20 times busier than I am. And I AM BUSY RIGHT NOW! If my wife did my job, we would be rich, cause she is a much harder worker than I am. She has to be to get it all done in a day! And then do it all again. I have NOTHING against those that choose to work, only those that choose to work and belittle those that choose to stay at home.

DITTO!

You have no idea... and I'm horribly outnumbered too. Heck, I'd jump in the car and go visit Bonny, except that Marc (A). took his keys with him and (B.) I'm not licenced to drive the rental car.

:(

[/b]

Amen - preach it brother! I hate that condenscencion - if I stay home I'll 'waste' my education and all that.....ok *takes deep breath, climbs off of soapbox*

*joins Jenny*

Well basically, they were teaching people how to get out of debt. But the people they were showing had things like 4 cars for 2 people, eating out 3 meals a day, 7 days a week, etc. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.

Yeah, amazing how they never use people like me and Andrew for things like that...we can't really cut back much more....

And (C) Bonny won't be there anyways!

Uh... no. These people are DVC members.. they think THEY are the experts in the group. I really miss my independance. When it's just my little family we can get things done so much quicker.

But we would have taken you with us if we had known..

Hiya Bonny! Sounds like you have some fun (albeit busy) weeks coming up! Sounds exciting! Hope you feel better, though! {{HUGS!}}

Thanks, the cold progresses and I slept on my back funny....sigh

There sure is allot of Estrogen in here:lookaroun

Yeah, sorry, that is the way it goea around here sometimes, although some of the funniest conversations are to be had late at night when they boys have insomnia.

I did not know that, so many special mommies here! Prayers your way today!

I love having my other special needs mommies here, other people can be sympathetic, but it's hard to understand unless you've been there...

He's normally a lot of fun to be around... but his mom was playing "let's take pictures for an hour before our dinner reservations" and he got very irritated.

Chimes in, he really is a LOT of fun

THAT is weird and off topic. I am working on a job right now and the name of it is...... 7th Heaven!

and 7th Heaven is the name of one of my favorite shows!

So Steph, I'm watchin Fox news yesterday in the morning and I see behind the morning show people that there is this window that people are going up to and waving while talking on the phone... and I'm thinking (figure out where I'm going with this) how funny it would be if our own MJ thread NYC representer showed up in that window one day....

That would ROCK!

Something to share. . .
George, my dear husband , is a very intelligent, motivated and ambitious individual. After retiring from the City of Philadelphia where he worked as a carpenter, he started a new life for himself, first as a photographer then as a computer geek, and most recently Philadelphia historian and documentarian. No slouch, my George!
Over the years though, I have noticed that he struggles with the written word. Funny, we are polar opposites. . .I thrive on the written word and he is in his element when it comes to public speaking. Anyway, like I said, he always seems to have problems reading, particularly out loud.
Our neighbor across the hall is a school psychologist and I mentioned George's problem to him recently. He told us that part of his job was testing children for learning disabilities and he said he'd be happy to test George. Last night, he put George through a battery of tests and came up with a diagnosis. George is "classicly dyslexic". I can't say we were really surprised. It just was strange to have it made definite after so many years of not being sure. It's a shame that at the time George was a student in grade school, there was no such thing as testing for learning disabilities. You were categorized as a "problem child" and that was the end of that.
Anyway. . .I found it interesting and thought you might too.

Thank you for sharing Dottie, that is really interesting....

I was doing this online autism education lecture and taking notes like mad...I also want to review this lady's books too, about implementing a gluten and casein free diet for ASD kids. We did testing that showed that Joel is highly intolerant of these proteins, but we've chickened out on seeing if the diet will work...mainly because his diet is so self-limited.

Where is the online autism educvation thingie at?

Hey!!!

When did this come about...where you can see the people who are viewing this thread at the bottom? Is this new or am I losing it?

Edit: At least we can see the lurkers now!

*Yay!*

Hey Bonny, that's great, can't wait to see the pics!

Hi Bonny! That's so sweet! I can't wait to see the pics! :sohappy:

Hi Bon!!!

Oh!!! That's so sweet about MJ touching Krystyna's stomach! :D Gives you those warm and fuzzy feelings.

I'm glad you all are having a good time though! Can't wait to see the pics!

There's not too much to catch up on actually. Not like usual anyway.

Hi Bonny. I am glad MJ got excited for a new cousin.

Downloading now, then have to resize and I can post them...

Crud, I was just changing my son's britches, and I think I pulled a muscle in my lower back :(

Been there, done that, hugs.....

well...that's now fun. :(

No, but it's easy to do when changing a 5 (or 6 year old)
