I'll try to distribute my trumpets (I don't really recall trumpets. :lookaroun ) and crying a bit more evenly.
Really, I sobbed uncontrollably all weekend and didn't have a moment's rest till you got back.

I intend never to get as old as some of the people I know.
There's a certain sourness that comes with that that is most unappealing.
I'm going to be fun for as long as I am able!

My grandma feels that way too! She stays young by thinking she's young. She wouldn't ride the "old people" bus b/c she didn't want to be with the old people. And she's going to Jamaica with the rest of us and I think she's more excited than we are!


EDIT: I do not want you to think that I am comparing you to be the same age as my grandma...just stating that I understood what you were talking about b/c I had an example of a person who feels young...aw screw it...I can't get my foot out of my mouth on this one. :lol: I don't think you're old Dot! There...that should do it more or less.

My mom. . .
It's a long story, but she's 85 and has missed her entire life.
Really, she hasn't lived.
I was always her mother more than she was mine.
I guess that's one reason I refuse to think old.
I don't want to be like her.
So far, so good!
