Why are there trumpets and crying when Luke leaves?
All I got was a good bye. :lookaroun

Sorry.
I'll try to distribute my trumpets (I don't really recall trumpets. :lookaroun ) and crying a bit more evenly.
Really, I sobbed uncontrollably all weekend and didn't have a moment's rest till you got back.

How's that? :lookaroun

Sometimes I feel like the ship's already sailed on that one!
But seriously, being around young people makes me feel young.
Age really is only a number.
I know exactly what you mean, and that's why I don't tend to hang out with my older (by 2 yrs) sister.

Sailing ships?
What are these strange primeval devices...
You must really be old. :lookaroun

If you get enough numbers, you get a letter from the president.

I intend never to get as old as some of the people I know.
There's a certain sourness that comes with that that is most unappealing.
I'm going to be fun for as long as I am able! :p

My grandma feels that way too! She stays young by thinking she's young. She wouldn't ride the "old people" bus b/c she didn't want to be with the old people. And she's going to Jamaica with the rest of us and I think she's more excited than we are!

EDIT: I do not want you to think that I am comparing you to be the same age as my grandma...just stating that I understood what you were talking about b/c I had an example of a person who feels young...aw screw it...I can't get my foot out of my mouth on this one. I don't think you're old Dot! There...that should do it more or less.

He can keep his letter.
I'd rather have one from Mickey Mouse!

Yay for grandma! :sohappy:

My mom. . .
It's a long story, but she's 85 and has missed her entire life.
Really, she hasn't lived.
I was always her mother more than she was mine.
I guess that's one reason I refuse to think old.
I don't want to be like her.
So far, so good! :)

My mother is 86 and volunteers at the local hospital. She generally puts in about 30 hours per week, and she's one of the "young" ones there.

If you get to live old enough, you can say what you want. :lookaroun

Hmmm. . .
I'll have to work on it some more.
Planning any trips anytime soon?
I'll practice up on my quiet sobbing and shameless pleading.

Hmm...

There's this:
