I had a BAD one last night. I tried to work a little from home.... then got to a brick wall.... went to bed at 11:00 and then it HIT!!! And Hard! I was literally wide awake until sometime after 1:30, then awake from anxiety in stomach at 2:30 and awake until at least 3:30, then awake again at 4:30 until the alarm goes off at 5:31. What do you do?

*sings* "Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens....." :)

Actually, I do just try and push it out of my mind and focus on something else. Deep breaths. If that doesn't work, it's strange and you're going to laugh...Pretty Woman. :lookaroun I don't know what it is, but ever since highschool, anytime I'm sad or upset about anything it always makes me feel better.
I've always wondered if I have a real problem w/ anxiety and should probably find out one day. I tend to worry and stress out alot...and then there's my fear of flying. :brick:

The doc told me to take deep breaths about 10 of them. Then let everything go and don't let it come back.:lookaroun Sometimes it works.:lookaroun

It is the worse thing, typically it is about work.... like I am stressing right now! But I HATE it at night!
Pretty Women, you mean you watch the movie and that does the trick? I'm not laughing at all, I'm thinking, man I wish I had a movie that did the trick!
I can not get myself to think about something else, no MATTER how hard I try. I told my doctor about it and he said to relieve the stress... I'm thinking I just paid you $150 to tell me this... NOW I'M STRESSING ABOUT THE BILL... I didn't know if anyone takes anything? I have tried Tylenol PM, 16 work pretty good but you need a defiberlator near by.

Doesn't work for me, its gets my heart rate up even more. Then my hearing gets like SUPERMAN hearing. When my wife is pregnant, she sometimes snores very gently, well last night I thought I was in a hurricane again. I didn't wake her cause I knew I would just hear something else that would keep me up and her snoring was not the problem.

Wait? Your afraid of flying? And you had a long distance relationship for 2 years? What are you afraid of?

I had a lot of stress problems right before the last time I took my boards.....I would lay there and think what would happen if I didn't pass...how would I pay my student loans. I would just lay there and think about all the bad things, usually for a couple of hours. Hopefully it won't all happen again now that I have started studying again.

My DH snores....but not softly. When he gets really loud, I go sleep on the couch. He tells me I'm crazy....I tell him to STOP SNORING!

Nope, I've never taken anything. Well...except maybe a glass of red wine :lookaroun

Yup, PW works for me. When I was younger I'd watch it everytime a boy broke my heart. :o My grandma would call, hear it in the background and say "Oh no...what happened?"

Yup...don't ask me how I did it. :veryconfu I've always been a nervous flier...even before 9/11. The littlest bump and I think we're goin down. :lookaroun Even though I know that it's a completely irrational fear, I can't help it.
