Hey everyone.. I know, I've been glued to the news when MJ is asleep....today it was saying we were supposed to have 50-60 mph winds, but it hasn't materielized yet.

Physically I am not so good. I pulled a muscle in my lower back which had tweaked my pinched nerves in my back and neck, so I am in a lot of pain. I broke a couple teeth this weekend too Nana and Joanna are going home today, that will be hard for MJ...we're taking her to Disney Quest tonight to hand out birthday cards.

Her birthday was really amazing. When Nana and Joanna get home they are going to start a thread at The Spot about her bday...I have to do work on the book, so I won't be able to do a lot until that is done.

Nana will be back in April for her anniversary and we will do some stuff with them then. Joanna will be back in May and is staying for the whole summer. Chantora will also be here for a month sometime this summer...

How are things here?

Hey everyone.. I know, I've been glued to the news when MJ is asleep....today it was saying we were supposed to have 50-60 mph winds, but it hasn't materielized yet.

Although I think in general that's a good idea... i would HATE for it to hit y'all. I would be sooo disappointed.

Wow! Where I grew up (Nebraska), you got your permit at 15, license at 16. Unless you lived in the country, and then you could get a school permit at 14 which allowed you to drive by yourself between your house and school during certain hours.

14 is pretty young.....

That rumor has been going around for a while.
Nothing's happened, yet.
Besides, it used to be those after 1990, then 1991...

From what I have heard it it is 1992 right now.
BUT, no legislation has been passed whatsoever, so depending on how much time goes by, the year could get bumped into 1993 or later.

See. I don't understand that. Teenage drivers are't as bad as everyone thinks they are. Most of the kids I know have never gotten in wrecks, and the ones that have it wansn't even their fault

Around here there have been some pretty nasty accidents with teens lately.
I believe we're up to three or four deaths THIS YEAR.

I was 15 when I got my permit...16 when I got my license...I think they've upped the age here though now.
