Vaguely.
Tell me if you want to.

Not much more to say... except that my friend's dad once one called the taxi "kingpin." :lookaroun And he was... "involved" in some of the proceedings surrounding that scandal. :lookaroun

Oh.
That's too bad.
I hope it's all behind him now.

Connor, did you see "Corpse Bride"?
We rented it Saturday night.
I thought it was really good.
I loved the animation.
And the story was unique.

No... that was a Burton stop-motion animation movie, wasn't it?
I heard it was good, but I've never seen it.

Yes, Tim Burton.
We didn't see it in the theater because it's only around 70 minutes long.
But it is definitely worth seeing.

By the way, Harry Potter came out on DVD today.
Must get a copy soon!
We own the first three.

If I ever think of it, I'll look into it...

I'll probably get one, but I thought the movie was just okay.

So do we. That's actually how we got a dvd player in the first place...
"Happy Birthday Dad!"
"Wow, thanks! Wait... this is a dvd... we don't have a dvd player."
"Now we're going to get one!"

Seriously?
I loved it.
It's my second favorite.
(The first is my favorite, of course.)

I was dissapointed... there was so much more they could have done, and as a whole it was entirely too condensed. You can't connect with characters (which should have been introduced, at least slightly, in the past films, anyway) that only have a few lines of dialog and barely any screen time.

You're right of course.
I love the books so much, I wish that the movies could follow them word for word.
Unfortunately, they have to condense.
But you do lose a lot.

At least we can always go back and read the books again...
