Mission Space's Theme Song

For those who don't pay attention, there is a theme song for Mission Space once you get off the ride. It really is a beautiful song and is nice to listen to. (especially since the exit walkway is so long for red and green)

Now imagine this. The only Pavilians left with theme songs seem to be Mission Space which was a surprise and Imagination because too many people complained. Well, I want to know the lyrics to the Mission Space song. Anyone know the lyrics?

The song actually made me want to vomit... no, wait -- that was the ride! In any case, it will be on the new Park album that comes out in a few weeks. I would have prefered a selection from Trevor Rabin's orchestral score for the attraction, but Disney never gives us the GOOD stuff on these stupid park albums.

Cheers

The song will be available on the upcoming Official Album.

Here are the lyrics:

Destiny, begins with you and me, through all space and time, the achievements of man kind. As we sail the sea of discoveries, on hero's wings we fly.

something, something. . . The new frontier we face is a mystery of space.

I have to agree with cornniblitz though. I played the song for my family, and they thought it was standard radio play. :brick: Perhaps if they played it louder, the song would have more impact.

I prefer the music they play in front of the Space Pavillion...as well as in the preshow rooms.

Yes... it's the got the electric piano and synthesized drums goin' on...

Gotta love those old classicly arranged orchestral EPCOT Center themes though... with modest splashes of synthesizer.... those typefy the Epcot experience... But M:S ended up with radio pop...

Heck, at least they gave us a theme song...

But I would have much rather preferred a modern variation on the classic "New Horizons" theme... that woulda been great... ;)

Your variation perhaps?:)
ROFL! Not exactly... just a modern, streamlined, yet still inspirational version of the great "New Horizons" theme... lol new lyrics, new orchestration, just slightly altered melody...

It would have been a great, fitting tribute to the predecessor attraction, even more so than the strategically-placed Horizons logos on the Gravity Wheel and in the gift shop...
