As much as I love Disney and their great parks and attractions, I think it's rediculous that they haven't opened up this attraction yet. I realize that it's a new concept and must be tweaked upon and tested before opening, but I have never seen a themepark company like Disney so unable to commit to an attraction deadline. For all of us who post upon this board to share our passions for great attractions and anticipation for new rides like Mission Space i'm sure you know how frustrating it is waiting for a great new ride to open only to be dissapointed. I wonder if the Walt Disney company even realizes they have fans like us who probably know more about their themeparks and resorts than anyone else besides them, I think they should drop by the message boards from time to time and take a look at what were saying!

They have always advertised it as a 2003 opening. It's still 2003. It's only March 2003. It's not finished. Ride vehicles are still being assembled. When it's completed and certified, it WILL OPEN.
Would you have wanted to ride TOT with just the 5th Dimension, and then get out and walk down the stairs to unload, because they had not finished programing the drop sequence profile and had it certified for operation. Now that would have been a Let Down.
Jedi is right, Disney have always said 2003 would be the opening year, and we are still in 2003. I am also sure they are aware that everyone, including major fans, want this to open right away. Infact, I would bet they are pretty keen themselves to get this thing open! Just hang in there, you have waited this long, so I am sure you can hang on for a few more months.

In the WDW unoffical Guide, it says the ride will come out in Spring 03' which obviously won't happen. I've looked around, but I haven't found a set date for opening? Is there a set date yet?
