Mission: Space Plaza

The Plaza was designed to get the Guest's attention to the Right. Disney had studies done that concluded that it was natural for a guest to move to the right whenever they would enter an attraction, so that is why Mars is towards the right of the plaza and houses all the Queue options, the Earth planet is turning counter-clockwise to the right, and the rocket on the sign is pointing to the right.

Disney Also wanted the Guest to choose what Queue Option they wanted as they entered Mars, which is why Jupiter is directly in front of the Fast Pass machines and the ramp leading up to the FP machines is marked "Exit Only"

I'm wondering since were a Right side country, meaning we drive on the right side of the road, If Disney built M:S at one of the international parks where Left side driving is the norm like the UK, M:S would be orented in the reverse or left sided orentation, or are we pre disposed to be right minded since a majority of the population seem to be right handed.

Me confused....

Well... Disney always utilizes guest patterns (going to the right, habits like that, etc.) in the creation of their attractions and shows... Doesn't surprise me a bit, I'd go right too...

Earth does spin counter-clockwise, however. You can determine this by considering how the sun rises (in the east) and sets(in the west).

The Earth is also tilted 23 1/2 degrees, which also explaints why the Earth Globe is on its side...

Astronomy is already paying off!!!
