OK I was wondering all the workers on Mission: Space know the ride system and ride design right? I mean they have to have the blue prints to make the ride so they know the whole ride system. Why doesn't any of the information leak out. One of the workers may tell his wife and they it'll spread like wild fire. Does Disney swear them all to secrecy and if info does leak out what is Disney's plan to deal with it and isolate it?

Its called a NDA
Non Disclosure Agreement

They have to sign, and by signing they enter into a contract that they will not tell anyone. If the break this they can be fired and have a lawsuit filed aganst them by disney for breaking the agreement.

yeah if it was a Centrifuge, It would definately be Huss. But we dont even know if it is a Spinning Ride. I mean who ever told us that it was a spinning ride anyways? Like u said if the information cant leak out we wont know what it is... :brick:

If my guesses it will be some kind of prototype rides... My Point is if the info cannot come out, Then how will we know what it is? So however the rumours started about it being a Centrifuge must be a mystery... However i have heard somewhere from Huss that there making something for Disney.... but it might not be Mission Space... But who ever knows. We will find out in opening date. :sohappy:

Lets Just save the mystery and find out the fun, when we ride it. :D :hammer:

The reason we all belive it will be a spinning centrafuge type ride is from a sat photo of the construction site showing the foundation. As you can clearly see is four circular foundations on the center of the ride building. what else would they be for. look at the pic

4 Space Shots! haha jk, I have actually never seen a picture of a Centrifuge, There's alot of questions to of what that ride sequence can be, It would be hard to believe that, The Centrifuge would take up that much space in the building, Im sure u would need room for the que, but it might twists around it...

Can anyone fetch me some pics of a Centrifuge? :) :veryconfu

If you look and compare the construction Photos the front of the building is about even with the front of the dome roof for JITYI. the way I se it there would be plenty of room for a big que inside.

I think you meant to say Wonders of Life. JITYI is on the opposite side of the park and is not in this photo. (okay, so I'm being nitpicky).

Anyway, the NDA (non-disclosure agreement) is absolutely correct. I have a friend who has worked for Imagineering for years and he's always very limited on what he can tell me about new projects (drives me nuts!!!)

Sorry for my mistake on the wonders of life, I havent been in a while and i'm getting mixed in my attractions.

and you absoloutly correct about non-disclosure agreements. most companies have them. I know I had to sign one when I worked for Kraft in the early 90s and I was just support staff.

I'm as anxcious as eveyrone to see what Mission Space is going to be like.

I have my doubts about the centrifuge theory though.

Wouldn't a centrifuge make alot of people throw up?:hurl:

I have heard that the ride is going to make you feel weightless and free floating at some point. This could be done with some sort of simulator type of action couldn't it? Kinda like a cross between the Star Tours ride at Disney MGM and the Back To The Future and Spider Man rides at Universal.

Guess we'll have to wait and see!:brick:

PURE SPECULATION: More like a cross between DUMBO and Star Tours. Judging by the pictures, it revolves like dumbo. but the pods probably have some kind of screen images, like star tours.

It may only rotate for loading purposes. Like COP, one loads while the others presenting a show.

Centrifuge and Nausea

The Centrifuge is a simulator, which produces a rapid circular motion. The instructional manual states that a 3g force (between 150lbs - 450lbs) is generated over a 15-minute ride. The subject will experience chest pressure. Breathing may be mildly impaired. As long as the head is still, dizziness or vertigo are usually not encountered. However, with head movement (i.e. lifting the head up) prolonged nausea and vomiting may ensue.

This is about a centrifugal ride at space camp. Hopefully with a projection screen to keep the guests interest and proper seating the head movement will be minimal. Also, after spinning at a few G's when the centrifuge slows down you will feel a whole lot lighter this may simulate being weightless.
