I was watching the SpaceShipOne specials on Discovery channel and I was thinking, if they stuck a HDCamera on the Nose of that spaceship and filmed from take-off to landing, it could be converted into the next ride film. Or Disney could buy their own Spaceship One and offer that as one of the things to do at the resort.

I've got two more pieces of original space pavillion concept art in my gallery :animwink:

Thanks for those, lee. I can`t find my large interior pic anywhere, and I`ve never seen the in orbit one before. Do you have anymore??

PS - California or Orlando - your Soarin` pics are superb.

When I first saw this thread, I thought they were changing M:S already! I know it hasn't been open too long. I haven't been on it yet, but I am so ready to go! In my 8th grade science class we are in the middle of our space unit. I showed them Apollo 13 (still great after seeing 6 times in 4 days) and we discussed M:S. Some of my students had ridden it and told all about it. It became a great teaching tool (even if it is make-believe).

I've been back there. There really isn't THAT much space. A lot of the mechanics are housed underground and the entrances are found back there.
