Mini Trip Update

Just finished up our second day and I have to tell you we are having a blast.

Our trip started off super with an upgrade from the Garden to a MK view tower room. When we walked in the room and saw that castle from the window, I thought the kids were going to jump right out of their skins, Had dinner at Chef Mickey's the first night - we loved it! Food was good and character interaction was fabulous.

Spent the morning in Downtown yesterday - Christmas stuff is 50% off, so the lines in those departments were horrendous. And don't even think about getting anything personalized.

Did the MK, dinner at LTT then went to MVMCP last night. Even managed to stay until midnight - the kids were troopers. Really enjoyed it, crowds weren't bad, and I felt money well spent for us. We didn't make ti back to Toontown at all, but managed to get several character meetings, and rode just about everything we wanted to,

Off to Epcot this morning, and dinner with the Princesses.

It's really good to hear some positive energy coming from here - there's been a lot of gloom lately!

Making an earlier night tonight, so taking some time to update my update!

We had a good day at Epcot yesterday - everyone really enjoyed Soarin, and the kids had a good time getting their passports stamped in World Showcase. Got some of my Christmas shopping done for DD19 - they sure get expensive the older they get!! Had some monorail issues coming back last night - took close to an hour to get from the park to our resort - had a couple of cranky kids!

Started out this morning with Donald's character breakfast in the AK - the food was good but I felt the character interaction was a little rushed. The kids didn't know the difference, though, so I guess it really didn't matter. The park was pretty crowded - I didn't check but it must be an EMH day today. They loved the Safari, and we ended up spending over an hour at Conservation Station. We left at 2PM due to the crowds, and didn't see one show, but we felt the kids needed a little down time, and really, what they don't know about, they can't miss!

Anyway, we chilled at the pool for an hour, then went back to the MK for the last part of the evening before tonight's MVMCP. Rode the train to ToonTown, crowds were horrendous, so we headed for POC and walked right on, bought goodies at Goofy's Candy, and now we're getting ready for bed.

Studios on the schedule for tomorrow, then Hoop-De-Doo in the evening.
