I hope none of this is repeats, but I'm still kinda new here. Even worse, I forgot my software for the cam so no pics :( . Anyone know a universal reader to use for my Kodak CX7330? Tried cam2pc, but it won't work. I know we can do it in the parks, but its $11.99 for a CD! So here it goes ...
They wouldn't let us in without a resort pass for the EMH, but went to another set of turnstiles and got right in at like 8:45am when the park opened at 9. The one female security officer was "giving away free bag checks". lol or so she said. Once again, a ton of ppl in another line, this one opened up, no one moved over. Oh well, their loss. Took my first trip on Soarin'. Simply spectacular. My mom won't go cuz shes afraid of heights. haha Got into the Land for the first time since the rehab. Very impressive. Miss the fountain though. LwtL's load area was nice, but a lot of squealing as the boats were being dispatched. Kinda disappointed to see the jumping fountains and the upside-down waterfalls weren't on by JIYI. Looks like they're almost back up. All of the spinners in Innoventions Plaza were off. Last year only a few were spinning. Some of them and their poles have primer on them in spots. Didn't hear that annoying bird noise outside of the Electric Umbrella. The restrooms there were closed, under refurb. Nothin to see at Club Cool. Some film glitches noticed in UoE, preshow and the ride itself. Maelstrom boats need refurbed. Handbars are all chipped up. Wait times were awesome. 20 for soarin, 10 for TT, 5 for maelstrom. I:RoE was great. Missed the inferno barge effects. Also the earth did not rotate. I think it normally does. Plus some of the screen near where the north pole would be wasn't working right. Was flashing different colors instead of displaying video. I felt bad for the ppl below us on the special cruises. Couldn't see any video on the earth. Couldn't really tell the fire was missing if you've never seen it before. The torch by us at Intl Gateway didn't want to re-light. It was pretty gusty out. It finally lit after a few minutes. Even myself being a smoker, it is a shame ppl can't follow the rules and smoke in the designated areas. Noticed a lot of that. Ate at Biergarten for lunch, ppl were extremely confused on the Dining Your Way thing. They didn't know what was covered, what they had to pay for, if they had to leave a tip, etc. There's more, but I'm pretty tired. Can't really think right now. Going to the Studios tomorrow, hope to have another report....

yeah try kodaks website last i check they had the software for all the cameras on there so that would be the place to look http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/products/ekn029310.jhtml?pq-path=2308 theres a direct link to the support page for your camera

That's right about that, I've got an old kodak and every so often I have to upgrade the software, you can get it for free too, when you get there do a search for your model and do the download.

Thanks for the report. Isn't it amazing how much you miss the fire effect when it's gone? Still, I can completely understand that they want to make sure nothing is fundamentally wrong with it before they put it back onstage.

I was there yesterday too. I only went on Soarin and it was about 30min. Then we jumped to the other parks. Oh and I forgot to mention that we had to see the House of Innovations. I love that place. Not that it has changed since the last time but they have added some cool things since last year I believe and I like to have a different guid to see what they have to say about the different things. Most of them seem pretty informative about the stuff they display and if they don't know much they tell you were you can find more info. Very helpful.
P.S. How long has Mr. Tom Morrow been in Innovations?

Studios Report

Not worth starting a new thread for the Studios. Saw LMA for the first time. Excellent! One of the red cars stalled or one of the black pursuit cars did backstage cuz they had to retake the first stunt. Dennis was the host. Recognized him from WWTBAM:PI. Crowds were higher today. Lots of school and disabled groups. Fantasmic! almost got delayed/cancelled due to thunderstorms surrounding the area. Luckily they stayed far enough away to have a full show. Some did leave thinking it would be cancelled. Maybe they were afraid of getting wet. lol I do have questions ... what is the LED board in the back of Muppets and Fantasmic that says "Walt Disney Attractions" in reverse? Also why did they take out the part in GMR where the bank catches fire? Went into the new entrance to WWTBAM:PI and they had a video in the preshow area with Meredith Vierra. Musta taped that when she came to do shows at WDW. Headphones were half broke in Sounds Dangerous. Still nothing in the old Superstar TV building. I'm sorry if you think this is long and tedious. I hope someone far away from WDW appreciates it as I do when I'm at home. still working on getting the camera software. dial-up stinks!!

It is for hearing impaired people. Kinda like closed captioning. Not sure exactly how it works, but that is what I was told by a cast member.. I think they give them some sort of mirror to hold up so they can see the LED..

Correct, but its a plexi glass board infront of them that reflects the words projected but allows them to see through it as well.

FYI, this same concept is how the haunted mansion does the ghost affect.

Magic Kingdom Report

Went to MK today ... crowds were normal. Castle was beautiful. Definately a noticable change in the forecourt area. A lot less blocking your view to the castle. Train station was still under rehab. Sprinted str8 to Splash Mt, no line. Beat the train back. Just as we were walking out the exit, they e-stopped it, then all were evacuated. This was at like 930am. It was back up some time later. The jumping Brer Rabbit was down again. The film of them running over the hills is up, but very dim. Brer Frog inside on the gators back ... his mouth doesn't move but he is talking. The lightning is back behind the vultures. Wasn't there last year. Thank God for the backup chain on BTMRR's lift hills. Slipped a few times. HM does need a rehab. The walls in the one stretching room looked terrible. Wallpaper was bubbled up. Doombuggies swang back and forth "jerky". Robert was the CM and did a great job at his character. IASW was pretty nice but in the last room, the white one, the audio was skipping. PPF may need a rehab in the future. The ride system sounded like crap. A loud humm and a lot of squealing. Maybe I got a bad car, who knows. Just callin it as I sees it. Rode Stitch for the first time. Not bad after hearing so many bad reviews. It was better than Mission to Mars. lol Had an e-stop on BLSS, but seemed normal. CoP was popular. Not full theaters, but close to it. It may need a rehab too. Lost of stalls on Indy Speedway. Planets looked wonderful. Glad they're back. SM was rickety and rough. Love the Disney attitude. I miss that charm. Well, most have it. Some need a good kick in the ***. Hope to have pics soon... keep an eye on this thread.
