Oh we have had the "Chicken dance" here WAY before 1981 unfortunately I remember going to wedding receptions back in the "70`s" thinking Oh my gosh This is rediculous! :lol: It`s actually an old Polka. it goes back to atleast the "50`s" as far as I know.
