Heck, have a little fun. Just translate it to: "Supreme Ruler of the Galaxy"

. . . I guess that's why I never got any translation jobs. . . that and the fact that I can't even speak 1 language properly.

Speaking of translating, my eight year old was reading over my shoulder yesterday, and wanted to know what it says in your signature. (Is it appropriate for an eight year old?) :D

With the exception of a very few transgressions, nearly everything I post is appropriate for an eight year old. (maybe some day I'll learn to post things that are appropriate for someone older than that)

I had this whole conversation with Maria once, and she probably knows Italian better than me (and from her comments it's probably sort of screwed up).

I got it off a Ducati web-site, and my understanding is that "moto" means "motion", but it can also mean "motorcycle", "Drive" or "ambition", so it is a play on words that roughly translates to: If you have a motion on the inside, you have a Ducati on the outside.

(I'm hoping it's much more lyrical than that in Italian . . . but if it isn't, no one's called me on it yet)

If Gary is a motorcycle enthusiast...then I'm a big blue Freak with black hair and a lightning bolt through it and I only wear red lycra :lookaroun

I guess you could say that. I would say that if I had to either give up riding for 6 months or not go to Disney World for the next 10 years, I'd be counting down 3650 (plus a couple days for leap years) days until my next trip to Disney World.

I think you'd have to go to an extremely poor section of Ethiopia to find someone that hungry.:hurl:

I've never been tempted to buy a bike...

Until I saw the way one overtook me the other day. :animwink:

Hey Gary, do you need to get another license over there to ride a motorbike?

Over here, if you want to ride anything more powerful than a scooter, you have to sit a Bike test.

Ah well, maybe when I'm a bit older.

And slightly less likely to kill myself on it!

I think it differs per state...but here in MA you need a motorcycle license to operate (which differs from an automobile license)

In MA...at 16 you can get your permit (motorcycle permits have limited hours and you are required to ride alone)
(automobile permits have limited hours and you are required to drive with a licensed driver 18 or older (who's had their license a year)
