Its good that you like books. I wasnt doubting that, I was just making fun of your grammar. 10 grade good, 9 grade bad. It reminded me of the SNL skit with tonto, frankenstein and one other. Sorry, just messing with you. :xmas:

Its ok... Im not really that slow... I know my grammer bites...

The first step is recognizing your problem. The second is telling the people who think its a problem to blank

Ok - one hockey tip a day for Tigs mom (and anyone else who is interested).

Todays term : OFF SIDES

This is a very simple one, but most people don't know it.

All this means is an offensive player crossed over the blue line before the puck. It's very annoying, and causes the referees to blow the whistle a lot.

In hockey, the puck must ALWAYS be first when going into an offensive zone.. If the puck pops back out over the blue line (at any time), all of the offensive players must leave the zone and put the puck back in first.

** Hope this makes sense. At one term a day, you should be a hockey expert by the time pre-season is over.

Yeah - similar. It's all about the blue line. If you see a guy charging toward the net, and say he slips or something, and he crosses that line before the puck, the annoying whistle comes out and the game stops. Or, if a guys takes a pass, but his feet are over the blue line.

If someone goes offside on purpose (which you don't see often), the face off comes all the way back down the ice. But this isn't important and doesn't happen much..

nah -- you'll remember it.. Trust me.. If you hear the terms, and you watch a game or two, you'll get it. After a while, you will get hooked.

Before I understood hockey - I hated it. THought it was the world's most boring sport. Now, I throw pillows - yell - change the channel (then change it back) - threaten never to watch the Wings again - everything. I am tellin ya, if you start watching it (and understand what's going on), you will be hooked.
