I'm wondering if you guys know anything about what happened to the former hosts of MGM/DHS' "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire - Play It!" I just got back from a trip and was thinking about it after visiting the Studios...

I specifically recall the four hosts from when I was in the hot seat (no names, sorry...I have to describe them): the bald guy, the Asian woman, the tan guy with the dark hair, and the dark-haired woman in her 30s or 40s.

Any info is appreciated :)!

If I'm not mistaken, they were equity. So their contracts ended, or if they were mid-contract, they may have been sent to other locations based on their skill sets. I saw someone at Comedy this past spring that reminded me of one of the females.

If I'm not mistaken some might have been moved to the LMA show since both require some sort of MCing skills, though I imagine that either they'd be let go or moved to another part of the company ("and now for 32,000 and the next platue: which of the following animals in the savannah here uses the termite mounds a look out posts?")

Tracey was the hosts for the Oct 1 Epcot events, and is doing other things with Disney presenting/hosting. I know another one is doing the Jedi Traning Academy.

The last time I was at Disney, both "hosts" at LMA were former WATBAM hosts. From a video of LMA, I also saw the black lady (Olja maybe? I forget her name) who was my favorite Millionaire host.

I believe the one guy's name is Dennis. He is now the Director(?) that stands on the back of the camera truck in LMA. He was an excellent host and still does a great job in LMA.

"Don" was one of the first hosts, and we recognized him as the "director" at the stunt show. Haven't seen Dennis, except with his wife on Trading Spaces a couple of years ago!

Wonder what happened to Kevin, the handsome one with the Davy Jones (Monkees, not Pirates) twinking teeth and eyes. I was in the hot seat once with him as host, and I couldn't even look him in the eye. I think I got to 8,000 points only! He used to be a singer in the Tarzan show also.

Individually, no. But with our powers combined... KNEEL, KNAVES!

Seriously, though -- the great thing about our community is the varied experiences and knowledge of our individual members. Greater than the sum of the parts. :)
