Just curious on how many people here rode the keel boats at MK before they were shut down, and what your opinion was of it as an attraction. Also, since I love seeing traces of extinct buildings/attractions at WDW, where was the queue for the keel boats-was it just across from Memento Mori, under the beige colored buildings at the very end of the HM queue, or was the queue entrance somewhere else?

Yes, the entrance was across from the Mansion shop.

Never understood why they put it in, as it was so close to Jungle Cruise it just didn't make a lot of sense... I do think the boats seemed faster than in Jungle Cruise but you lacked anything worth looking at.

I rode them once in 1973. The park was crowded, the month was August, and the air was thick. I wasn't a happy camper already, then having to ride on the top portion of the boat with the top edge of the short back rest against a sore part of my back. Not comfortable. I don't think I ever rode them again. I don't miss them.
