I actually think the Magic Kingdom 4th of July show is the best show in the parks, but only from "Stars And Stripes Forever" onward. Mortars on the castle? Check. Rockets red glaring around the entire park? Check.

Have you seen Epcot's Heartbeat of Freedom? Cause that 5 minute tag trumps MK's 12 minute show.

I have yes. And normally I would say, absolutely, whenever EPCOT breaks out the super barges, we're in for a good time. But I have yet to watch a video (and I've watched plenty, believe me) with the ooh and ahhs responses that the rockets red glare portion of the Magic Kingdom show ilicits.

The cheapest ticket in Dec is $109, so $116.09 with tax. Last year the cheapest was $99 ($105.44 w/tax), which I paid. In Dec. So, they went up over $10 w/tax for many days in Dec. Seems like a big jump - do they go up that much every year?

Pretty much. $5-10 each year.

Has Holiday Wishes being canceled for 2019 conformed somewhere? I thought the latest was MK was going to focus on MNSSHP this year and give Holiday Wishes one more year???

Will Castle Dream Lights/Holiday Wish Lighting face any changes???

Nothing's wrong with Celebrate America's Music!!!!! We all know it's not HEA's tech yet, but I love the music much better than the mid 2000's July 4th FITS(the intro was good, but that's about it for me)
The last July 4th show I liked before Celebrate America was 1988-1991(Maybe MK kept it longer) with Sandi Patti. America The Musical Castle Spectacular prop. helped the situation too!

Just updated the rumor tracker...

The Hub
  • Both the Halloween party fireworks (Hallowishes) and the Christmas fireworks (Holiday Wishes) will be updated in 2019 to HEA level (i.e., projection-mapped images, longer fireworks, new audio). [here] [here]

New Holiday Fireworks Show Coming to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Walt Disney World Resort
This holiday season, the skies above Magic Kingdom Park will sparkle to life like never before during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party with the debut of an all-new fireworks show that can be enjoyed across the park!

Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks show, hosted by the one-and-only Minnie Mouse, will celebrate the magic of Christmas with medleys of beloved holiday songs, from “Joy to the World” and “Deck the Halls” to “Up on the House Top” and “We Wish You A Merry Christmas.” The holiday music will evoke heartfelt moments of home and family, as well as the festive fun of the season before an incredible finale you won’t want to miss.

You’ll be able to see the fireworks show during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on select nights November 8 – December 22, 2019. And if you are looking for an extra magical way to celebrate the brand new show in its first year, our fireworks dessert parties are the perfect option! You can add on this experience to enjoy treats, including chocolate-dipped strawberries, cupcakes, ice cream, seasonal fruits, cheeses and other festive favorites while taking advantage of dedicated, dazzling views of the show.

Along with our new show, each of this year’s 23 nights of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will feature performances of Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas and Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration stage show. And during A Frozen Holiday Wishstage show, Queen Elsa will magically transform Cinderella Castle with glistening ice.

During Party nights, you can also experience select rides and attractions (including the “Jingle Cruise”), savor complimentary treats, discover event-exclusive merchandise, delight to a magical “snowfall” on Main Street, U.S.A., and more.

Tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party are now available online or you can call the Disney Reservation Center at 407-939-1872. Here are this year’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Dates:

Really looking forward to the new show! That name, however, is horrendous 🤢
I'm not shocked by the name, since we have MOUACT Parade

I like the concept art! Looks like 180 and Castle Dream Lights! This might be better HEA which never put the Castle Dream Lights in it's finale like Wishes did!

Looked at the art again, no spotllights, so, will this have HEA Tech? Did the MNSSHP art have spotllights?
