I definetly didn't expect to have interest in this show, but after seeing it once I was hooked. Compared to other 3D shows, this one just went really good with each part being interesting and keeping my (and the crowds) attention. Some of the animation was weird obviously because of the change from the characters being hand-drawn and then becoming 3D, but otherwise the other stuff was great. I especially like the Lion King part, with all the stuff spinning around ,e tc..

I have to admit, I went to Disney 2 or 3 times before I finally gave in and saw it. I loved it. The only other 3-d movies I have liked have been the Muppets and Magic Journy.

Thumbs up for Mickey's PhilharMagic but I had trouble sitting close to the screen. The 3D was totally blurry up front almost to the point of giving me a headache. It was much better in the back seats. Maybe it's because I'm an old geezer.

If you liked the current show...

You would have LOVED the other scent that was pumped in the air during the carpet scenes...

Back during grand opening months...

(*sigh*)

A-yup! The jasmine. I was telling someone how it used to have that scent and they didn't believe me. Though, from what I understand, it's one of the more highly allergic things out there and many people had bad reactions from it.

Still it was cool to have the second scent.

I don't know why, but the first few scenes seem blurry to me. But then once Donald gets whisked away, everything is sharp as ever.

It is the best IMO in Fla. I love it, because it has that disney feel, and its classic disney coming together in the most magical place in the world. And its really kidfriendly, and the whole family should be able to enjoy it.

I think the most welldone 3d show on WDW property is HISTA, and the most suspensful is ITTBAB. Muppets is a very well done crowd pleaser, but the preshow is just to long. But Mickey's Philharmagic, is just what makes disney disney, esp when it comes to 3d, and family enjoyment.

The pre-show is designed to be around the same time as the actual show itself. That way, while the folks in the theater are enjoying the show, the folks waiting in line for the next show have something to keep them entertained. It's also great because you can walk in at any point in time, and you don't really miss anything.

(it's also one of my favorite pre-shows)

I was lucky enough to see it as a sneak preview/advanced screening (insert appropriate insider Disney term here) when I was there last trip. My eyes do not do the 3D well, but the music was excellent.

I was surprised at how sparse the buildout was but not complaints really. The crowd really seemed to enjoy the show.

My favorite 3D is still It's Tough to Be a Bug. Nothing will be the magic I experienced as the bugs unexpectedly left the audience before the humans. The Muppetvision is VERY creative, but that's Muppets so you expect that. I especially like 'a net full of jello' in the pre show.

The best seats in any 3D show are towards the back, as this gives the 3D effect the maximum impact.

I voted this as my favourite pre-show. "I'm Max. Debbie was sick, so the union sent me" :D. It's the only attraction I arrive at and hope that I get to see the whole pre-show.

I adore this attraction because it combines the new generation of Disney faves with the original idols Mickey and Donald. I always get a lump in my throat at the Peter Pan section and the amazing sensation of movement over Agrabah.

In the Muppet preshow area I miss the scrolling sign that said ,
"K_E_R...are we having fun yet?
M_I_T...that's a school in Massachusetts"

You are corect. Anytime that Mickey is on the screen, it has a very "soft" or "blurry" look to it.

Why that is I don't know. Jim Hill did an article on it a few months ago stating that they didn't have time to "perfect" Mickey enough in 3D, so instead of looking weird they softened the image. Seems like a stretch to me.

Only other logical reason I could think of is, to give an actual separation between the musical sequences and the band sequences.

Funny, I felt the Lion King part was the least inspired out of all the sequences. almost like they didn't know what to do exactly, so they just did a hodge podge of different things.

The show is wonderful, but if I have to to a "nit picker" I wish they shortened or changed the Lion King scene to something better, INCREASED the amount of time you are flying over London in Peter Pan and reduced the flying time of Aladdin & Jasmine in the clouds. Donald chasing them is great though. :D

yeah peter being longer would be cool but I don't know about making the lion king shorter...that is my fav part of the show. Its diffrent from the others and its also what you see in the movie.

But really the way the show is now..is perfect.
