Mickey's Philarmagic is what Disney's All About!

I know everyone wants to say stuff about Philarmagic, but I'd just like to say Mickey's Philarmagic has rekindled my love for Disney. The show all has to do with movies I grew up with and ties me back in to the Disney Magic. Other rides have been greatly over exagerated, (Ex: MS) but Philarmagic is a great suprise. You have to see this show. It's not just another 3D crappy show, it's awesome, and I think the best ride at the Magic Kingdom now.

PS: I've been out for awhile but now I'm back.

6th person to ask me.

The fact Figment is green and they are showing Malificent in the background threw me off, but otherwise I got it.

I completely agree...

Mission:Space is a great attraction...and in my opinion, lived up to the hype...

Philharmagic comes in with very little hype and truly captures the essence of what Disney is all about!

GREAT JOB WDI!!! :sohappy:

Frankly, I think Mickey's Philharmagic outbeat Mission: Space. I immediately felt, "I have to do this one again!" M:S just left me... :hurl: I've ridden it twice and have had enough...but Philharmagic will just bring you back - comedy, quality, and real character! :)

I'm sure it's wonderful but it's still a "3-D show" in which you sit in a chair and watch a movie. BRING BACK THE DARK RIDES!!!

It's very wonderful...but I'll say that this is definitely the best attraction in all of Fantasyland...(and I'll go as far to say...EVER in Fantasyland) (In my opinion)

Mr. Toad's Wild Ride...good ride...but honestly...did anyone get a "WOW" feeling from it? (the one that comes remotely close is flying over London in Peter Pan)

Yes it is a 3D movie in which you sit in a chair and it has no new gimmicks – things fly out of the screen, you get squirted with water and there are some aromas pumped into the auditorium.

Actually it has one gimmick – a very big 3D screen with a couple of 2D either side to give your peripheral vision something to keep itself occupied.

I definitely enjoyed it and hope you will too. But I guess you would not want to wait in line for it. Get a fast pass and give it a go. If you go expecting “just another 3D movie” then you will probably be pleasantly surprised.

Yes, this is one of my favorite attractions now. I love the way it's been done. The best Fantasyland attraction to ever be there since the sad passing of Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.

Cheers to WDI!

yeah, I have no doubt it is currently the best attraction in Fantasyland. The problem is, 3-D shows age incredibly fast compared to a classic dark ride. Captain EO was built in the 80's but by the early 90's it already looked laughably dated. Meanwhile, Peter Pan was built in 1971 and is still enchanting children and packing them in. You just can't compare sitting in a huge auditorium with hundreds of other people to the personal submersive nature of a dark ride in which you are surounded by REAL objects instead of projected images and are alone with your family instead of 50 families.

Hey you probably didn't understand.... Philarmagic IMO puts M:S to shame but I want new dark rides.... (not replacements)

We are talking chalk and cheese here.

I enjoyed both. Each ride is as different as could be from the other. IMO both attractions are shame free. Though Philarmagic will not have as many riders yodelling up their turkey legs and churros :animwink:
