can any one tell me is this the same as an e-night, limited to 5000 guests or is it more. if so how many. can you also stay in the park if you went in to the mk in the day time and stayed till after 7.00pm for free or do you have to get bands or do you have a waiting area if you are in the park already. any help would be very much welcome.

many thanks

Hi Metman, and welcome.

MNSSHP is similar to an Eticket night but with some other additions. Yes it it a hard ticket event, meaning you need to have a separate ticket and get a wristband.

In addition to ride access, there is trick or treating, free photo, halloween lighting and decorations, a special halloween parade and fireworks and characters and guests in costume (not required).

See http://www.allearsnet.com/tp/mk/mnssh.htm for more details.

Does anybody know if the party for the evening of October 15 is sold out? I'm very interested in going...and I have to get my tickets yet! My fingers are crossed the it's not sold out!

Just as an FYI, there is no way that E-Ride night is limited to 5000 people. I was at the last one on 8/11 and there were way more than 5000 people there that night. Everything had a line well into the last hour of the event. We left @ 12:30 seeing that the line to Peter Pan and pooh extended beyond the queue area still. People were leaving a full Philharmagic theatre and going right over to those 2. It was constantly packed in Fantasyland.

Splash and Big Thunder's lines weren't long but they were long enough where you couldn't stay on the ride after it hit the load/unload queue.

I really don't think so. Only one that sells out is the 31st. and it will usually sell out the day of the event.

When are you planning on going? I'm a CM in NJ and we are going Oct 8-16. We are going to the Party on the 12th.

I haven't been able to find much information on this hard-ticket event and I was wondering a couple of things.
1) Does the park close early for this event? Or is it after hours?
2) Are there fireworks and parades on nights of this event, or is it only the special party events?

Thanks!

I included a link to allearsnet earlier in this thread. That site has a nice summary that provides answers to all your questions. In short, the park closes earlier and opens for those with the special event tickets (some in the know can stay in the park during the changeover) There are special parades and fireworks, as well as trick or treating and special lighting/decorations. Beyond that it's similar to an E-ticket night in that you have smaller crowds and easier access to rides.

You have been able to stay in the park during the transformation, however, CM's would 'corral' you into one area, so another army of CM's can transform the rest of the park for the event.

Last year, as w/ others, everyone who had an armband in the park was directed to Tomorrowland... They had pre-started the party there, while the rest of the park transformed.

BTW... as with last year...Halloween night sold out WAY in advance. This year has been sold out since at least the first of July (I bought mine then). Last year, there were sandwich-boards promoting the events in front of the TTC showing available dates still available during the month... the second to last party ALSO sold out 3 days prior as well! (because Halloween was already booked, people took the next closest thing)

Help quickly, p-l-e-a-s-e!

OK, I undertand that you need to buy a special [hard] ticket to attend MNSSHP, but what I don't understand is whether or not this is in addition to park admission? I'm wondering if I can not use a day on my 4-day PHP (take the day off), buy a ticket to MNSSHP and go in at 7:00 PM. Will this work, or do I need to use my PHP and hard ticket to get into MNSSHP? :veryconfu

imamouse, all that is required is the ticket for MNSSHP itself. It includes admission for the evening. No need for any other Park ticket for the evening. Hope this answers your question. BTW, the Party is a great time.

Questions

Hey I have a few questions :veryconfu :

1) How early will they let you get in for the event. Cause I heard that in the past they have let people in as early as 4PM with their tickets for the party?

2) I know that they sell pins and shirts that are only available at the party, but where are they sold at?

3) I want to go to the first party on Oct. 1 (Friday), Should I buy the tickets a couple of days in advanced or do you think they will still be available on the day of the event?

4) Anybody have any stories of what they liked and what attractions they did at the event? (I did read the posts at allearsnet.com)

Thanks very much for your help everyone. I can't wait till I go to Disney in October (1st-3rd). :sohappy: I'll be going as Alice in Wonderland (If I can make the costume in time).

1. Yes, you can get in around 4.

2. I have bought stuff at the popcorn stand near the castle, in the store just outside the Pooh ride, etc. Pretty much, the stuff is disbursed everywhere.

3. You'll get a little discount on buying the tickets ahead of time.

4. Basically, it is just the MK with fewer guests, a special parade (which is a must see), the headless horseman makes an appearance, trick or treat goodies, and a free photo. We love this and the MVMCP events, and attend one of them each year. We will be at the party on the 8th.

I'll be there for the 1st also. Look for Dopey and the Fairy Godmother.

I would recommend getting your tickets now. Last year they sold out a few days prior. Better to be safe than sorry.

Well, I'm hoping to go to WDW October 13-18 and go to the party on the 15th. Haven't made any definite plans yet...we'll see! Which store do you work at?
