Hi!

I'm going to Disney on Saturday (4 days to go!) and I was just looking for last minute rumours and gossip and thought I'd better introduce myself seeing as I've been visiting this site for three years!

I LOVE Disney! Everyone who knows me knows me as the Disney freak! We usually go to WDW in March or November so this is our first time in September but we REALLY want to go to the Halloween Party. Did the P&P party earlier this year.

Is the Halloween party as fab as that? And are adults allowed to go in fancy dress? I'm 23 and I've been told it's kids only? :veryconfu

The Disney site says "Characters decked out in their favourite costumes — so wear yours, too."

I've seen lots of pics of guests in costume, adults and kids. Dress up and have fun!

Adults are more than welcome to dress up and partake in all the Halloween fun, including trick or treating. The guidelines for costumes are pretty simple and for the post part common sense. No weapons unless they are obviously fake, no gory costumes, no full face masks and if you dress up as a Disney character you are not allowed to sign autographs do things that could be construed as impersonating a cast member.

Some of the best costumes are worn by the adult guests. There are just as many adults only guests, so you will never feel out of place regardless of age.

Two suggestions, especially for Sept./early Oct. MNSSHP...the evenings will probably be fairly warm...so the lighter the better. Also, you want to maintain manuverability... If you want to go over the top however, let it fly, many will enjoy your appearance, I'm sure.

PS...don't eat all your candy on one night! :hurl:

Cheers! I've seen a fan Jasmine outfit and I'm in the process of trying to get my hubby to dress up as either Aladdin or Captain Hook but strangely, he's having none of it! I really can't wait! I like Candy! :slurp:
