I went to it about 6 years ago, but I was too young to remember everything. I do remember that there were no lines and it was a lot of fun. And that was six years ago, it must be a lot more fun now.

We went for the first time last November and our family has decided that we couldn't imagine even going to WDW at any other time of the year now. Christmas is definitely in the air and yes, even this macho firefighter, had a tear in his eye a few times because of being overwhelmed with seeing my kids having so much fun.

On a side note, I would also try to get to Sea World during this time. They also have a very special Christmas celebration. The Christmas Shamu show is a MUST!!!

We got our tickets in November for the December 3rd date. (Which was one of three Friday nights.) Being a local, weekdays are hard to do, so we opted for one of the Friday nights. We bought them about three weeks or so in advance. The night sold out. Friday nights will always sell out and the last day (17th) will always sell out too.

Even with it being sold out, I didn't feel over crowded. There were a good number of people, don't get me wrong, but it wasn't too much. The only time it was a problem was food. And mainly because there were so few counter places open. Casey's line was out the door most of the night.

But, if you want to go on a Friday night, get them a month or so in advance. Beyond that, it shouldn't be too much of a problem, but it's always best to get them sooner rather then later to ensure you get the night you want.

Oh and we were allowed in as early as 4pm despite the park closing at 6pm and our official Party start time of 7pm. Good way to get in, ride some rides, eat some food and then enjoy the special events of the Party itself later on. (Like the super, super, super yummy cookies and hot cocoa they give you for free!)

This is how good!

Hi There,

We bought our tickets as soon as they went on sale to make sure we could get the date we wanted.

They put on such a great show and it was such fun night that my girlfriend and I are now thinking about doing Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party! Incase you are wonderin, we would just go down for like 4 days so that we could attend this party. Flights alone will be over $600 each since we live in Nova Scotia, Canada.

BTW - We haven't ruled out going down for the beginning of December again either. (we need help!)

But we think these nights are AWESOME!

Regs,

CJM

I'm glad to hear that Sundays are not real crowded since we are planning to go to MVMCP this year on a Sunday the first or second weekend of December.

I've been to the party numerous times starting with the first year it was started. It's fun for the whole family. Disney really pulls out all of the stops when they put this together.

I would strongly advise anyone going to go during the week and avoid the weekends at all cost. It get extremely crowded....

Pam

Thanks Pam - but now I had a dilemma. We have 2 dates to choose from during our Dec visit; Dec 18 & 20. The 18th is a w/e (Sun night) but the 20th is the last date for the event. It appears that both choices will be crowded. What to do?
