Mickey has left Mickey Avenue. The marquee has been stripped and he's not listed anywhere on the Times Guide even.

Other then that, just a bunch of photos of Toy Story Mania construction photos on the way :)

so where is the narnia thing in relationship to that, MGM is the park I know the least about, so i need a little bit of extra help trying to put this new project in perspective. If it were Epcot, i'd know where it is, instantly, same with the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and MGM I dont know that much about, since they are my least favorite parks

Narnia is a little more to the right. Then you have the Narnia photo-op and then One Man's Dream. That end leads into the courtyard for Little Mermaid and sits directly behind the Great Movie Ride.

Thanks for the pics! Just in case anyone cares, they are building the same attraction at DCA in the Disnelyland Resort. I was there the other day and was able to capture some photos. Sorry there not the best...I was on California Screamin!

I went a couple of years ago and enjoyed it too. It certainly pales compares to Disney's usual quality, but you can still really enjoy the place for what it is.....A few Disney quality adventures without a coherent theme. I felt like I never really went anywhere. But it was still a fun place to visit. Miceage rumors have the place really improving over the next few years in theme and scope.

that park does need (and is getting) some disney lovin' - but despite everything i heard about it before i went, i enjoyed it, a lot!

I don't know why everyone knocks DCA! I love it...we have some great attractions, pretty good shows, and a fun environment!

they are working SO SLOWLY on the DCA ride! They'll be lucky to get that open by Christmas 2008!

If even by then! I don't know what's taking so long! They did have to destroy the building that was there previously! Oh well!

Sorry Merf...Didn't mean to hijack your thread!~

still...bulldozing a building shouldn't be THAT tough...those were pretty small buildings. It's not like they were bulldozing the Tower of Terror. Something else must be up...like there is a steel shortage in Anaheim or something...or maybe Ed Grier is the one building the ride, himself. You know how often he actually gets to the parks...might explain their "one section of steel added per week" pace. I can't believe it's taking this long to just build a ride building--at MGM, they could easily be working on ride mechanics and basic theming inside by now...DCA's ride must be about 6 months behind MGM's by now. Soarin's ride building went up faster than this...

What I'm wondering is..... What's going on above and behind you that's so amazing it has those people captivated? :D

If my memory serves me correctly, they're looking up at the back of the Chinese Theater...

I believe thats where they hang the giant coming movie posters, and if I'm remembering correctly it's currently of Jack Sparrow.

Oh, I totally agree, this is taking a ridiculous amount of time!
