Just tried to order mine for 9/29 and I was told they "had not become available yet". That they were supposed to be available yesterday, but are not.

This was after she put me on hold and talked to somebody........:(

I just verified this.

Due to system challenges, all Special Event tickets (MNSSHP and MVMCP) are not availiable at this time. ETA on correcting this challenge is pending, but hopefully by later tonight or tomorrow.

Guests can still book dinning reservations for Tony's Town Square Restaurant or Liberty Tree Tavern's "Liberate Your Appetite" Character Dinner on all Party Event Nights. I have verified that table availablity is loaded into the dine system and is unaffected by the ticket challenge.

Hope this helps! :sohappy:

So please let me know, at Xmas time if you were in the park at the day time ,you would have to leave and pay a seperate admission for the evening? Is the only way to see the Xmas parade to attend MVMCP? Please help me with this one.

NO you can still see the parade with regular theme park admission. At 6pm they close down the park, usher everyone out to Main Street, if you have a ticket/voucher for the event there are CM's handing out wristbands. They clear everyone out that doesn't have a wristband and then about an hour or so later they open rest of the park for the party. Only problem with going at this time of year is that you pay the same admission price but get less time in the parks (unless you have a hard ticket for the party) -- Hope that helps!

I was just able to make my ADRs for LTT this morning for 10/16. The CM originally told me nothing available after 4:30, but I mentioned the Halloween party and she found me tables at 5:40. She did ask if I had already gotten my tix and I said I had, though I haven't actually ordered them yet. :animwink:

Thanks to JP - saved me a 7am call Monday AM! :)

We just called and still couldnt get them... At times I wonder what goes on there....

I have seen similar situations develop with discount codes etc.

I really dont care if I get my tickets today, but I don't want someone else to buy them.

The following are exclusive to the Party Events:

Snow on Main Street USA
Complimentary Hot Cocoa and Cookies
Characters will be decked out in their Holiday Best and be EVERYWHERE!
Discount PhotoPass Offer

The following is offered only after all the Party Events have ended (stating Dec 23, 2006):

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parade featuring Santa and Mrs. Claus
Holiday Wishes - Celebrate the Spirit of the Season Fireworks
Select Special Holiday Shows

Throughout the year, we adjust our Theme Park operating hours to match expected Guest volume. As a normal course of business, we may make modifications and volume-related adjustments to our business to match current Guest demand. The number of operational hours we offer each day will allow the average Guest to experience the same amount of attractions and shows an any given day thoughout the year.

On event nights, the Magic Kingdom is scheduled to close promptly at 6 PM. Only Guest with Event Tickets for that evening will be issued wrist bans and be allowed to remain in the Park for the Party.

Hope this helps! :sohappy:

It took 2 calls but we were successful! Tried the way SeaBee1 did it and it worked. Don't know if this matters but the person my wife talked to identified herself as a Disney ticketing specialist.

Can't wait for the party!!! :sohappy:

Ooooh, I thought all that stuff was on every night of the party. So the special wishes and Holiday Shows and Mr. and Mrs. Claus is only the 23rd onward?

Let me clairify...

All of the above highlights are special offering during the Party itself on each and every Party Event Night. They are not presented to our guest visiting the Magic Kingdom during the parks normal operating hours.

Once the last party has ended on Dec 22, the Christmas Parade and Holiday version of the fireworks are presented to Guest visiting the Magic Kingdom during the normal operating hours, starting on Dec 23.

Hope this helps!:sohappy:

Oh!!! Awesome! I'm glad you clarified on that. I'll most likely get to go down there at the beginning of December. Great to know that all the awesome Christmas things will go on at that time also if I get the Christmas party tickets. Thanks JP!!

Okay, I'm still a little confused.

I recently booked a Disney trip for my family for 12/18-12/22. We're staying on-site and already paid for 5-Day Park Hopper passes, but nobody told us anything about the Christmas event tickets. Will our passes allow us to attend the Christmas events or will we have to pay for extra event tickets in order to attend?

You can use your regular Park Hopper, but to go to the special Xmas party at MK, you will need to purchase a separate ticket--for the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

Does anyone know how crowded MK is the week prior to Christmas (12/18 - 12/22), both during regular park hours (which I guess now end at 6pm) and during the party event?

Also keep in mind that if you purchase a ticket to the MVMCP that ticket will allow you entry to the Magic Kingdom starting at 6 pm or so on the day of the party. If you dont need to be in another park that day, you wont need to use a regular park day from your Magic Your Way tickets for admission. Belle
