Does anybody remember the Mickey Mouse Revue? The show was where Philharmagic is now. I loved that show. The Legend of the Lion King Show came next when they took out the Revue. I also was at Epcot just before they opened it. I remember seeing the big ball and thinking I can't wait until it opened.

I barely remember the Mickey Mouse Review. Somewhere I have a postcard of a scene with Alice in Wonderland, from the attraction. If I'm not mistaken, Captain EO moved into the space for a short time before the Lion King.
As for EPCOT, about a month before it opened, Disney allowed visitors to take the monorail to EPCOT and get off on the platform and look around. My husband, oldest daughter and I did this. It was really something to behold.

You're right. Magic Journey was in Epcot before Captain EO, and it moved to the MK after the Mickey Mouse Revue moved out, not Captain EO.

Yep. I did like this show. You know they moved it to Tokyo. Anyway, here is a picture of it. If you click on my album below I have three or four from the Revue.
