Mickey Mishap In Sadct Today!

This seems so farfetched. I believe it but, I'd love to see a picture of it. Just to make sure it really happened. :lol:

I only believe it because it came from highly reputable sources.

I'm sure pictures will leak out.

Also, who picked up the ear? I would have picked it up and ran out of the park. I don't think there is a better souvenir to leave the park with.

lastly why the "Mickey crouched on the floor"? It was his ear he lost not his pants..

Remember mickey is in the snow globe. Thus it was inside the globe and nobody could have been able to take it.

That's what I thought, but then someone said "talk to the kids" which confused me.

Thanks for clearing that up. I'm glad Mickey was not in the crowd but safe in the globe.

Anyway, they call me today and tell me that during SADCT, one of Mickey's ears accidentally fell off!!!!

I can read the headlines now... "CM loses ear while in the parade" Goofy has agreed to be the lawyer for the plantiff. Character Captain Hook claims the same thing happend to him which is how he lost his arm....

This was in no way sensational enough to warrant rhe medias attention.
Now if the errant ear had hurt/killed someone, you better believe the media circus would have been swarming on this story.

A rather unfortunate incident but i bet there was a few ppl there wishing that it was during a meet and greet it fell off so they could take it and sell it on eBay. Im sure that it would follow on from the monorail car and EPCOT fountain prism quite well as the next best piece of a Disney icon to own. Could you just imagine though going on eBay and seeing "Mickey Mouse's Ear For Sale" - wud be rather surreal.

TOTALLY happened - trust me - I'm a cast member. And he crouched on the floor with his hands over his head to attempt to hide the fact his ear fell off and waited to be lowered intothe float.

Wow, that is pretty bad that his ear actually fell off while performing in the parade, where I am sure lots and lots of kids were watching. What a bigtime wardrobe malfunction . Has something like this ever happened before and for those in the know, is it easy for these things to happen?

Yes This Has Happened Many Times But Rarely In A Parade Ussually In Meet And Greets Because The Children Tend To Pull On The Ears.

Magic Kingdom costuming is known for allowing our furry friends to fall to pieces. When compared to the other parks, it definately shows.

TOTALLY happened - trust me - I'm a cast member. And he crouched on the floor with his hands over his head to attempt to hide the fact his ear fell off and waited to be lowered intothe float.

I trusted the source...I never dispute information from the parks. I let others do that. I'm just having a little fun..It's tramatic for children from funny for us adults.

I believe that. Last November I saw Darkwing Duck in Main Street and I was pretty stunned to see his feet. It looked like he had mega fungus in his fingernails :lol:

And I took my picture with Smee as well and he gave me the peace sign but... his glove had a hole in it (This was at Epcot though)

I'm not complaining though, I've never encountered anything insanely bad and they do the best they can considering I've seen plenty of little turds pulling at the tails and tongues and you name it.
