Ok, So I am visiting WDW in May and one of the things I am looking forward to is the new Mickey Meet and Greet at MK. I have seen many pictures and reviews about the area, but none about the actual experience. Has anyone actuely doen this yet? If so what has been your experience. How long has the line and wait been. How are the Fast Passes? Is it hard or does it take long for the meet and greet.

All feedback and Reviews are welcomed !!!

We went on Monday night right after the Electrical Parade...so about 9:20-9:30. There was absolutely no line for Mickey or the Princesses so we got to meet Mickey, Minnie, and all three princesses in about a ten minute span.

The new areas are really nice and detailed...my sister asked Mickey if she could take a picture of him in his dressing room mirror and he happily obliged. They also let her walk around and take pictures of all the props and such...the Photopass photographer even pointed out some details that we missed.

Overall we were really impressed with the area and found it to be a much better experience than the old meet and greet in Toontown.

Thats sounds great, I am glad you were able to experience it with a short line.

Is the short line very common during the whole day, or are there times to avoid and times to take advantage of? Does anyone know ?

We went last Friday and had about a fifteen minunte wait, or so. The area is set up to hold a long que, but we had less than fifty in front of us. Once we were in the room we had some time for photos, and didn't feel rushed.

I'm just wondering how big a dork I'll look like when I'm standing in that line by myself in September (meaning I'm doing a solo trip) Because I have every intention of getting in that line and getting a good photo with the Mouse!

I am SOOOO excited to see this! I will be there in May with my mom! She hasn't been since 1998 so a lot of things will be new for her! I'm excited that some things will be new for me too!! :sohappy:

No you won't be a dork!! hee hee I went on a solo trip to DL in Jan of 2010 - and I stood in line all by myself and it was totally fine! The only bummer, is that I always had to ask the handler or someone behind me to take my picture. It is very fun to do a solo trip! Have fun!
