Yeah, and they're adding his nose to SE too! He must have that finger so high up his nose it tickles his brain sometimes... Some of the things he does just cannot be explained from a normal, logical stand point.

But, Merry Christmas to you too, Eisner... hehe :p :xmas:

And geez this Eisner bashing never stops! Give the guy a break, he's done more for the Disney company than ANYONE second only to Walt him self. The economy has been sketchy for quite a while now and you'll notice Disney isn't the only company having problems and having to make cut backs. Eisner is doing what he's doing only for the benefit of the company. As for those angry at him because of the demise of old attractions....do you really think e makes those decisions single handedly?! There must be a whole division of the company dedicated to monitoring guests opionions on attractions and how much traffic these attractions recieve. I'm sure the average guest (not Disney nut) opinion on an attraction like JOurney Into Imagination was quite poor....espescially after haveing done attractions like Test Track which the average Joe Blow (not a Disney nut) in a Disney theme park would enoy over JII.

Excuse my typos....I usually go back and fix them but sometimes when I go to edit a word the spaces close up and as I add letters other letters delete. :veryconfu It's a pain in the butt.

I completely agree w/ you, he doesnt make the decisions on his own, and the old rides, well I could say some stuff about them, but I would rather not, what is happening at Disney, Universal, or Sea World is not the fault of their CEO, it's the economy and untill it pops back up, it'll probably stay this way! I also think it is terrible that Disney is looking for a replacement for Eisner!!

I don't think it's bad that they are looking for a replacement for Eisner at all. Back in glory days at Disney, he was 1/2 of the equation. Remember, it was him and (drawing a blank on the name) that did everything in the 80's and early 90's. Then the other guy i think died. Eisner can't handle it on his own now especially with him getting older. So consider this, leave Eisner in place(biting tongue) but also bring in a younger more vibrant person that's in touch with what made us love Disney in the first place, and give them EQUAL POWER. Then and only then can Eisner find strength again and only then can we have someone in power with imagination.

As far as the hand.. hmm... here's an idea... take that God awful looking Epcot sign off the top, leave the hand, put a glittery glove on it and bring back another Jacko film....  And YES!!!! that was a joke... no Jacko in Disney... no no no..LOL

As for eisner yes back in the eighties and eirly ninties he was great. problem is (imho) he is getting old, only wory about finances and the whole economy thing dosn't help matters. we need fresh young blood in there with new ideas for a new generation.

Sherm, if i could shake your hand right now, i would! i couldn't agree with you more on this!
the wand and hand is ok (was wonderful for the millenium) but the sign MUST go...and really i'd like to see the hand and wand go too, but first the sign! and seeing the inside of the arm was ok for it when it was temporary, but if they're gonna leave it for a few more years, then they need to enclose it. i doubt it would cost them all that much.

as for eisner, again, i agree with sherm, and as i myself has said in the past, he was a Godsend for the company in the 80's and early 90's, but situations change, people change. right now he's not what the company needs. he saved the company in the 80's, sure, but that doesn't mean that he had kept that up, or will/can keep it up. it's the evolution of life, people. the 80's and early 90's was the highlight of his career...now, his job is done and Disney needs someone new with new ideas, and preferably someone who can bring back the Walt in the Walt Disney Company. Someone who knows the value of family and quality and not the value of quantity and the almighty dollar. sure, making money's great...it's what makes the world go round (well, along with energy...energy, you make the world go round!) but when you start getting more concerned about that than you are the loyalty of lifelong, die-hard Disney fans, is it really worth it?

Mickey's Hand

I had no idea that so many people were tired of or didn't like the hand and wand over SE. I have enjoyed it so much...hundreds of pictures. My guess is with the remake of SE the hand and all will disappear. I'm sure we will all love whatever they do. Have faith!

Seriously, folks, I hope they take the hand down. I always loved SE just the way it was.
