Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party 2025

Ask Disney about long-term copyrights...
It will not be this weekend or early next week. Decorations last year went up roughly 3 days (August 6 was the first day with decorations) before the first party date (August 9). The first party date this year is August 15. You have another 10-12 days to wait, in all likelihood.
The year before they went up the last days of July. You just never know.
But... one year, they did the decorations 3 weeks in advance!!!! That must mean they are coming any day!!!

I have a Tervis cup from the 2018 Food and Wine, one from YC from 2021 and one from OKW from 2022 that I use literally every day. They go through the dishwasher 3-4 times a week and still look brand new.Checked all the usual merch boxes, plus a picture frame and postcards. They're branching out!The t-shirt design isn't bad, for a change.
Tervis products are garbage, we stopped buying them years ago. They easily crack (my kids disproved their durability claims within 12 months of our first purchase of one) and you obviously can't get a direct replacement for custom items like the ones Disney sells.

One has a typical witches hat, the other doesn't.
One is dressed in black, the other isn't.
One had point stars, the other has flared stars.
One has a moon, the other doesn't.
One has a flat modern broom, the other has a conical old-timey straw broom.
One has flared sleeves, the other doesn't.
"Witch flying on a broom" predates Bewitched. How do you portray "Witch flying on a broom" and not have similarities to other "witches flying on brooms"?
Maybe Bewitched was the plagiarist. I'll get MGM (Wizard of Oz) to sue Sony (Bewitched).
That being said, several years ago Disney did definitely plagiarize an artist's rendering of the Sanderson Sisters (through a third party provider). [Tho, shouldn't Disney have sued that artist for using their property? <shrug>]
Coming out of COVID, Disney had a shortage of staff and so, they gave themselves a lot of extra time to decorate, putting out things way, way earlier than previously.
