Which part makes you sick? Disneyland's Tomorrowland is a complete embarrassment. Loss of Astro Orbiter may be disappointing. What they really need to do is add an attraction, or 4, to the land. It's nothing more than a walkway right now.

Disneyland's Tomorrowland has the most attractions, and the most E Tickets, of any Tomorrowland in the world.

The aesthetics of one land over the other is one thing (Tokyo's Tomorrowland is ugliest IMO), but the attraction lineup is a solid fact that's hard to argue with. Here's a refresher:

Disneyland's Tomorrowland - 9 Attractions, 1 Show
Star Tours - E Ticket
Space Mountain - E Ticket
Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage - E Ticket
Captain EO - D Ticket
Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters - D Ticket
Autopia - D Ticket
Disneyland Monorail - D Ticket (and/or handy nonstop transportation to Downtown Disney bars)
Innoventions - Microsoft House of the Future, Thor Exhibit, Starck Inustries Exhibit, Honda Asimo robot show
Astro Orbiter - B Ticket
Jedi Training Academy - Stage Show

Magic Kingdom's Tomorrowland - 8 Attractions
Space Mountain - E Ticket
Carousel of Progress - D Ticket
Stich's Great Escape - D Ticket
Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor - D Ticket
Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin - D Ticket
PeopleMover - D Ticket
Speedway - D Ticket
Astro Orbiter - B Ticket

Tokyo Disneyland Tomorrowland - 7 Attractions
Space Mountain - E Ticket
Star Tours - E Ticket
Monsters Inc. - D Ticket
Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters - D Ticket
Speedway - D Ticket
Captain EO - D Ticket
StarJets - B Ticket

Disneyland Paris Discoveryland - 7 Attractions
Space Mountain - E Ticket
Star Tours - E Ticket
Buzz Lightyear Astro Blast - D Ticket
Captain EO - D Ticket
Autopia - D Ticket
Orbitron - B Ticket
Nautilus - A Ticket

Hong Kong Disneyland Tomorrowland - 5 Attractions
Space Mountain - E Ticket
Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters - D Ticket
Autopia - D Ticket
Stich Encounter (Stich version of Turtle Talk) - C Ticket
Orbitron - B Ticket

So Disneyland USA wins that contest, in an E Ticket landslide! :)

Yeah, well...lets strip out the EPCOT and HS clones, shall we?

You are left with 5 attractions. I'll give half a point for the Marvel exhibits since WDW can't do that contractually.

Also, I'll note, I really hate the letter ticket system thing, because it's all subjective. Disney hasn't used that system in over 30 years, so really the poster is just deciding what is an "E-Ticket" for themselves.

Tiki Room was an E-Ticket at one point.

I really hate that "grading" scale.

Not sure why you wouldn't count those rides in a comparison between all the Tomorrowlands.

When people are at Disneyland's Tomorrowland or Tokyo's Tomorrowland they don't skip Star Tours because it exists at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Nope. But we have Stitch. I know you are jealous. It's ok. <grin>

I'm sorry to hear that. It's all subjective, obviously. But it's a fun and traditional way to gauge the type of experience each attraction is.

And the Tiki Room was actually an E+ Ticket. When it opened in 1963 the Tiki Room cost 85 cents, while a regular E Ticket for Matterhorn or Submarines was 50 cents. Tiki talk says that must be quite a show! :D

Though, my underlying point is that it's not fair to account for these attractions as unique, as if they are not available at WDW, when they are. If HS or EPCOT didn't exist, these attractions most likely would be in Tomorrowland there as well.

The rest was just humor (yeah, Stitch is terrible)...<grin>

I made no suggestion that these were "unique". I merely made the suggestion that they exist as operating attractions inside Disneyland's Tomorrowland.

This was in response to another person who suggested Disneyland's Tomorrowland was merely a long walkway that needed four new attractions to compete with... something. Although when you look at the listing I provided it is quite clear that Disneyland's Tomorrowland has the most operating attractions of any Tomorrowland, and the most E Tickets.

I know. I just have to represent WDW! <tosses up gang signs>

I adored Disneyland's Tomorrowland, and you all have one ride which is the envy of any park...the Nemo ride (those subs are long gone from WDW, and haven't been attempted since).

My count ends up pretty much equal:
DL: 2 E, 3 D, 3 B
MK: 1 E, 3 D, 1 C, 2 B

One can sorta add half the Matterhorn to TL roster. And the Railroad. The RR is shared with other lands, but on the plus side, it has some spectacular panoramas, located in TL.

To the MK TL roster you can add a theme-breaking stage with soul-crushingly bad stage shows. And the theme park world's largest in-park executive parking lot.

If you're going to discount the clones of rides that are 3,000 miles away, then you might as well talk about the attractions in MK's that are the same experience as others at WDW dressed up with different characters:
-MILF is a bigger (but inferior IMO) Turtle Talk with Crush
-Buzz is the alpha version of TSMM, and does not have the upgrades that DL's has to help the ride compete with its newer cousin

Plus Stitch is a mess that's a downgrade from Alien Encounter is too scary for kids but not thrilling for adults the guns don't work like they do in the movie doesn't even fit into the continuity of its own universe and is a waste of two wonderful animatronics.

That had nothing to do with my point, I just had to get that in.:D

It's time for them to demolish the Peoplemover track. They're not going to do anything with it as-is anyway. What an eyesore it is. The section around Autopia crashes through woods. Right in the entrance of Tomorrowland by Buzz, there is a chunk of the track missing where you can see a tree literally grew into it.

I think it would open up that midway between Buzz and Star Tours and really help with the awful bottlenecks. In addition to removing the Astro Orbiter and the giant french fries.
