I believe that Men in Black Alien Attack was build on previously unused land, but I do vaguely remember hearing that another soundstage attraction used to be there. I can't really tell you this one for sure, unfortunately.

As for Nickelodeon Studios, it has been closed for quite some time now. The famous facade was removed and repainted in preparation for the installation of the new Blue Man Group Sharp Aquos Theatre. While Soundstage 18 now holds the new show, Soundstage 20 and 21 (I believe those are the proper numbers) are still used by Sunshine Television and other production groups. A few portions of the Nickelodeon Studios still remain, including the former exit's escalator which is surrounded by green paint and hanging images of various Nicktoon characters (Debbie Thornberry is still in place as of today). Also, the studio doors closest to Hard Rock Cafe on the side of the building still feature a Nick orange "splat" sticker reminding guests that this entrance is for staff only.

Nick Studios are long gone. Shame, too, because I loved going there as a kid and checking everything out. I don't know if there was ever anything where MIB is, but I know there was definitely no ride there previously.

The entire section of the park containing MIB and Fear Factor was added on. Nothing, besides backstage area, was there. Nick Studios, on the other hand, was where Blue Man Group is today.

I always thought that Fear Factor Live was where the Wild, Wild, West Stunt Show took place. I could be wrong about that. If I am, where was that Wild West Show located?

You're right, WWWWSS was always where FFL is currently located. WWWWSS opened a year after the park did.

Darren - you are more right than I was. I was a bit off, and too far north. MIB and the pyro compound was just a field.

I wasnt 100% certain. I can remember being at Unversal Studios when they was 'Breaking Gound' for the MIB attraction.

Is the Original Hard Rock buliding still there?

The original Hard Rock Cafe building is still standing over near Woody Woodpecker's coaster and Fievel's Playland. It has been painted roughly to match the area's theme, so that it blends in, but when you get to be closer to it, you'll see that the building still exudes an air of Hard Rock. The building itself was offered up by Universal and Hard Rock to be blown up for a film shoot of some sort, but the offer was rejected, so the building remains for now.

Remember that this building was shapped as a guitar. They had a bridge originally that was extended from this building that had wires over it to replicate strings.
