you gotta understand though that this was his vacation and he would have to take a picture for a 1000 for every one he did...

Actually there are lots of celebs who are happy to take pics with fans! This just sounds like diva behavior to me....

just a difference in the celebs i guess, because it would be nice for them to all take pics, but i totally understand why they can't all the time.

He was on vacation. How would you like it if when you went on vacation you were constantly bombarded with people requesting things from you and it ended up more like work than vacation? How would you like it if you just wanted to go to WDW with your family and everywhere you turned there were more people asking for things from you? I know I wouldn't appreciate it very much. These guys are human too, and deserve to be able to take a normal (well, at least a semi-normal) vacation with family and friends just like everyone else. I've seen celebs at WDW before and just admired from afar, so as not to disturb their vacation. Then again, I've also seen celebs there before who happily stop and take pictures. It's just up to the star, and they should not be looked down upon for wanting to enjoy the parks like normal park guests.

Although I somewhat agree with your post I still think that that is the price you pay for being a celebrity. Sorry but I still think it wouldn't have killed him to pose for one picture!

No, but if you pose for one picture, who do you decide who for? What if Mickey only posed for one picture with a guest and sent everyone else away... Let me repeat, they are on Vacation at WDW... That's a vacation from being a celebrity. If they sign one autograph, take one picture, then whats to stop the next person from getting the same thing? and the next.... and the next.... and the next...? I'm disappointed that you were allowed to get that one shot, I would hate to have someone jamming a camera in my face while I was trying to relax.

Also, flanked by Disney Security? Doubtful, no one gets that. They may have had up to three Vip Tour Guides in Red Plaid with them, but to be constantly patrolled by the Jolly Blue giants? I'm calling foul....

Nice pic though, hope it made your vacation extra special...

i hope i dont step on any toes or anything by posting this but i met Stephen Tyler in the gift shop of the RnR like in like 1999 or 2000. His kids were shopping around the store and he was accompanied by a Disney Guide. My little brother was crying for some reason and Stephen Tyler came over and started playing with him. At the time Aerosmith was my favorite band so it was huge for me and I got a picture with him and my brother in the gift shop. That's definetly one disney memory ill always remember.

One day I ran into Kim Cattrall at Universal. She was dressed very incognito but still got recogonized by a few people. When we finally approached her, she was happy to sign some autographs but refused to do pictures. She told us that this was family time for her and her kids and she wanted to stay low key and spend the day with her family and so everyone that did recogonize her respected that. We all got quick autographs from her and she went off with her family. She wasn't even getting a special escort through the park. She was waiting on line for attractions like everyone else.

I think we need to give Steven Tyler a break now. The man is going through a divorce. If I was in his situation, I wouldn't have wanted to pose for pictures or sign autographs either. We got to remember that celebrities are people too (some stuck up divas, but not all) but the man is going through an everyday human problem right now. I wouldn't blame him for wanting to go to Disney and be left alone. Just because he's a celebrity doesn't mean he can't go to disney like a normal human being.....

And I'm still jealous... :lookaroun

Way cool!

What a cool experience! I wouldn't be worthy!

The closest I ever got to something like this was almost riding Space Mountain with Richard Simmons (no joke).
