And we did it, didn't we! Brian Dawkins just asks us to believe, so do it! You can be cautious now and just give up, or go for it on 4th and 26. What's it gonna be?

Why not? It was a very bold move...and it was executed perfectly. Had it not been for that move...Carolina would be playing the Packers.

They say one of the most memorable moments in Patriot's history was the Viniatieri kick in the snow of the Oakland game... Should that not be memoralized?

It should be memoralized IF they win the Super Bowl. If the Pats had not won their championship, Viniatieri's kick would have been lost in the shuffle of how they lost. A few weeks will tell whether 4th and 26 has any lasting merit.
