Ah! I can't take it anymore!!! It's Christmas time!!! After seeing Elf last weekend, I started feeling it. And now today, one of the local radio stations I listen to converted to an all Christmas music station for the next 2 months! I was listening while driving to school and when I heard it, I had the biggest grin on my face for the rest of the drive. I've been having WDW withdrawal ever since my trip and so far, really nothing has cured me of it. Until now, Christmas! Christmas! Christmas! I may actually love Christmas more than WDW! So what if it's early, some lights are going up already, Christmas music is starting to be played. Bah to Thanksgiving, it's Christmas time!!!

So what do you say? Let's use this to start preparing for the most wonderful time of year. We can sing carols and exchange well wishes. We can look back and share the glories of Christmases long, long ago.... or last year. Christmas is just the greatest time. People come together in love and joy. Bad feelings go away, well, some are grumpy, but we can cheer them up. :) We all get lost in things during the year, problems, concerns, emotions. I know I do. Christmas is just a time we can stop and take a look at things and see just how special our time with people can be. It's just something that makes you feel all warm and good inside. :) So if it's ok with you, why don't we all share it together. So what if it's a bit early? We can have 2 whole months of this! :D We can help plan our Christmases, have a little fun, sip some hot cocoa, build us a snowman, cuddle up by the fireplace. We can share stories, pictures, maybe even throw a party later on. Oooh! Maybe even go ice skating! :sohappy: Can you tell I'm excited? Teehee!

I know some of us have either family members or friends or even they themselves that cannot be with all their loved ones this Christmas. Though that is sad, I like to think of us as a second family and it would be wonderful to be able to share as much of the Christmas spirit as we can with each other.

It's the most wonderful time of the year.
With the kids jingle belling
And everyone telling you
"Be of good cheer!"
It's the most wonderful time of the year!

There'll be parties for hosting,
Marshmallows for toasting,
And caroling out in the snow.
There'll be scary ghost stories
And tales of the glories of Christmases long, long ago.

It's the most wonderful time of the year.
There'll be much mistletoeing
And hearts will be glowing
When loved ones are near!
It's the most wonderful time of the year!

OK, I've been fighting this all the way. The neighbors are starting to decorate and I still haven't raked the leaves in the yard.

Today my husband suprised me with a new CD... Jim Brickman PEACE. I just love piano music (and him in particular). Some of my favorite Christmas hymns are on it. After pushing it around the desk for a few hours I finally opened it up.
I am soooooooo ready for Christmas...let the festivities begin!
:sohappy:

Hoo-rah for working somewhere that closes on major holidays. My work even lets us have our birthday off or get holiday pay for it. Whooo...

back to the subject....ya know what always gets me in the mood? That movie A Christmas Story.... "Oooooh Fudge...Only I didn't say fudge." It's a family tradition to watch it on Thanksgiving
