Memory Maker Ride Photos

I'm tossing around the Memory Maker idea.
I know it's linked to your Magic Band --- One question:
Do I have to wait in line with everyone else looking to purchase on ride photos or do they have a MB kiosk set up where I can scan my MB pic our photo and get the he!! outta there?

They started testing this last November.

That explains why we had doubles of all our ride pictures in our account. I waited on all those lines for nothing.

That RFID signal is pretty powerful apparently. : ) Some call it data mining (and it is) Disney is definitely keeping track of what, where and when while we are in the parks. In this case it's nothing but awesomeness.

Is there a way to know 100%, if all rides with photo's, you no longer have to visit the photo kiosk after the ride to link it? I'd love to be carefree using MM, but i'd also hate to miss out on photo's because i didn't visit the kiosk after the fact. Curious if there is signage explaining at each ride now, or how we are to know for certain.

I believe they are testing out the on-ride photos for the Mine Train now, too.

The attendants at the kiosk will smile assure you that its linked...we would check after a while and it was linked just as we were told. I asked the first time or so but then quit, they were always linked by our bands and we could check on our phones by logging in to our account.

That is great to hear.

When you purchase memory maker, it is assigned to one user and only that user can log in to download. Other linked family members (assuming proper permission was granted) can log into thier own accounts and view shared member photos. But how does the ride itself know, that everyone in your "group" is linked together?
Meaning, if the primary MM holder doesn't go on a ride as someone else in the group, how does the ride know that other member should have its photo linked to the primary? Is this all based on the Friends and Family linking? AND being tied to the same resort reservation?

did you see the news today? it's on this site, that they now are linking videos of ToT to your MM, hopefully with others to follow.

I think I am beginning to like some of this magic band stuff. staying up until midnight at 60 days out to get FP is a bit of a pain, but this may make up a little for that.

now, when are they going to start using the MB for photos at Enchanted Tales, or have they already? Last time I was there, they handed out a card with your session number on it and you had to go claim the pics. would be nice for it to be magic band enabled too.
