NEVER forget that this is not just a holiday or another day off from work This "holiday" was started during the civil war and then known as "decoration day" it was a day meant to honor those brave men who had died in battle. It was a day to decorate their graves. But we as a country have seem to forgot about that and look forward to just another day off.
No matter what your doing today or where you are stop and take 30 seconds out of your day and remember the heroes who have made this country and all of the world a better place to live.
In fact better yet if you see a military person today take a few seconds to walk up to them and shake their hand and say "thanks"
