I wanted to see this movie, but never got the chance to. At first it looked stupid and boring, then it looked interesting, and I heard a couple of kids talkig about it at school when it was coming out. Since alot of you said it good Im pretty sure I will enjoy it. I also think it would fit good in tomorrowland. Just take out that meaningless corny themeless in the wrong place piece of crap Monsters inc. and you could have a good attraction in place of one that sucks.

well then here is a slap in the face for you.

stitch wasn't a success in theaters. he was only succesfull later on on DVD and merchandise it was sort of a slow popularity. much like Family guy was a slow hit and didn't do very well then boom! it's really popular now.

thank you!!!

stitch is over popularised -its uncool that hes everywhere and thank god there not calling it stitch kingdom anymore!

i got meet the robinsons on tuesday and watched it that nite and last nite aswell -cant believe its out in the UK b4 america.

i thought it was a feel good film seeing a kid who doesnt believe in himself and is always let down and stuff over come those fears or obstacles.

and i like the way it has walt disney quotes and stuff on the dvd, as ive said its now one of my faves.

Chalk me up as a fan of MTR. Absolutely loved it! And whoever said it was not appealing enough to kids, I think you will find yourself dead wrong. My 10 yrear old son is just dying for the release of the DVD & he saw the movie 2 or 3 times in the theatres. I personally believe that it's popularity will take off with the release of the DVD. It all depends on how much Disney promotes it's release. Plus, I agree that MTR would make a Fantastic addition to Tomorrowland @ MK.

I loved this movie. I'll admit it, I cried (though most anything even slightly related to WDW will make me tear up a little.) I absolutely cannot wait for the DVD.
An attraction in Tomorrowland would be cool. I'd be willing to give up Stitch for it.

Great Picture!

They did such a wonderful job with the meet and greet characters, it is just upsetting that we don't see them out now. Who wouldn't want to meet Bowler Hat Guy?!?

I also thought this movie was wonderful and far exceeded my expectations. After seeing it, I was so excited to meet the characters. But it looks like they didn't last long. I really thought that they would appear in tomorrowland once they were replaced by Remy and Emile in the Animation Studio. I'm still hoping that they bring them back, because I love this movie!

I know that a lot of dvds get released in other places first I don't know why but a lot of them do.

I would love to here more about the bonus features from the UK people who have the dvd.

Also it looks like I am going to MNSSHP on the 30th as Wilbur. I am just going to go with a wig instead of dyeing my hair since I don't want to have black hair for EPCOT's 25th.

DVD Release US

Hello,

WHen is the release date for the U.S. version? Also, what are the audio selections on the UK version? Is there a descriptive track for the visually impaired on there? If so, I need to try and order a UK version and use VLC to play it.

Unfotunately, it's not the attraction version. It's a remake by They Might Be Giants and unless it was buried somewhere in the credits at the end of the movie, it was not used in the film. It does list it as a "bonus track" on the CD, though.

I think the reason why it wasn't as popular merchandise wise, etc. is because the characters aren't that unique...they're just regular people for the most part.

Whereas instead of an alien, fish, talking car, talking toys, etc. it's just not that unique.

Having said that I thought the movie was great in theaters and one of the best Pixney/Disxar films to date.

I can see that. Except the bowler hat ;)
By the way, it wasn't Pixar. Just Disney.

Yes it is the new version but still almost as catchy as the original.

The dvd in the US comes out Oct. 23rd so we have awhile to wait.:((I wonder if my cpu would play the UK version?)

As far as having fun as Wilbur you bet I will as long as I can find a decent looking wig I will be all set.(If anyone sees a good one let me know please)

I don't think so...they seemed to promote it pretty heavily.:veryconfu

Trust me, I know people at the studios that forgot about it before it even came out. It should have been one of those big releases with some glitz and glam but other then a few tv spots and not much in print adds it came and went. Disney will most of the time pick up the adds the week following the release, but for MTR there was very little after it hit the theaters. Even the limited 3D didn't get much.
