Has anyone meet anyone they knew on this forum, I found out I know someone who is good friends with a friend of mine, how bout met anyone like as in male-female? hehehe just wonderin'

LoL...as the gossip wheels start turning...

I perosonally havnt met anyone from here (yet)...oddly enough seeing how i live close to a LOT of people here....I do however know of at least ONE meeting of some of the members here....

I met mightyduck and Mr Promey at Epcot last fall. We had a wonderful time....TALKING ABOUT THE REST OF YOU!!! :D (just joking!) Seriously, I was very careful and was a little concerned about meeting someone in person that I only knew from the net, but they're both wonderful. However, I'm a bit (well, a lot) older than most of you, and this was a completely friendly meeting...no expectations, real or imagined, on anyone's part, if you get my drift!

I would be very, very careful...people are not always what they seem on the net. I, however, am really a middle-aged, grey-haired, somewhat plump mother of two, so am completely harmless!! hehe

We had a great afternoon there. :)

For the record, NOW knew I was going and didn't join us. And I did attempt to meet Jay-Rod, but he didn't show up. ;)

August, here we come! :D

For the record, I was still kinda "new" here at the time and was more nervous than anything else about meeting you guys...

And Duckie..August is around the corner..but april is even closer ;)

Hi There!
Here is the scoop...as well as I can remember:)
I was surfing the server I currently was in another group on. I wanted Disney friends people who had the same love for Disney as I do. It was wayyyy before I was told about this site:)
I found one, for folks who love Disney, but didnt pay any attention to the fact that it is based out of California! I live in Florida!
I responded to one of Cals posts, and we started chatting in IM, then on the phone for HOURS! We have SO much in common! We were finally able to get together in January...and We are happy! I am currently planning a move there.
My advice is....Get to know the person as best you can...become friends, and be yourself. Dont pretend to be someone you arent...give it time:)
Take someone with you on your first meeting, and do not have any expectations...just have fun! I love to meet new people, especially Disney fans...I hope to be able to go in August...we shall see:) I would love to meet everyone:) I feel like part of a family here, and yes, this is home!
