Meet & Greet In October 2015...

I know it's a long way off,but I'd love to meet any other Magic members when I hit WDW.Whats the best way to organise this nearer the time...???...My idea would be this..Set a early evening time ( example 6.00pm ) Destination Epcot..Venue..La Cava...Have a date set ( example Monday 15th October ) Here's where I run out of ideas..How will we recognise each other..So how would you plan this meet & greet.?:inlove:

Can you make it 2014 and I'll be there lol.
I am on a Melanoma forum (it's skin cancer but kills!). We had a meet up in London a couple of weeks ago. There was about 30 of us. We set the venue and time and then everyone set their profile pics a couple of days before to what they actually look like now. Then once a few of us had arrived, we asked those looking lost on arrival if they were looking for melanomamates :) It was a great time! Ended up with an impromptu dinner in Chinatown. Fab!

Like I said in another thread,friends arrived back from their third visit in three consecutive years..2011 & 2012 in October,an this year in July..Never again in July..October wins hands down..Less heat..Less rain..Less tour groups..Less crowds..More fun like Halloween & Food & Drink..;)

In front of the Christmas shop for the afternoon parade. It was magical and on t my last day @disneysince71 's last day we met on a bridge in EPCOT and let our boys plan the day's fun.

Awesome..So did you just all say Hi and Goodbye.? I'll check that thread out nearer the time,once I get my dates and vacation booked..I like the idea of Epcot for a photo shoot,then exchange address or web site if people wish.( I'am not really Mad as a Hatter ) Wouldn't want to get too involved in a Drinkie poo session,especially in the afternoon..LOL..;)

Sadly with @Pooh'sBuddy and @MouseDreaming it was only a quick meeting, but @disneysince71 and I spent almost the whole afternoon and evening together. We had sooooooo much fun and our boys had sooooooo much fun being kids and finding hidden Mickey's together. It was one of the best times I ever had there!!!!!!!!!

It was short, and I don't think we would have "found" each other if it hadn't been for the infamous Figment pack that @figmentfan423 was sporting. @Pooh'sBuddy had a particular shirt. My suggestion--Find something that would stand out and that other people who were looking for you might notice. I'm thinking a shirt that says "Madder than a Hatter" ought to work! Oh, and the meetup spot was perfect!

So are you saying at 6pm on a day in October (a weeknight) La Cava won't be too crowded? Good to know - somehow the unofficial guide made it sound like La Cava was murder to get into.

Well I walked straight into the bar in July and got served right away..Maybe it was my kilt that done it..:rolleyes:
