I know it's a long way off,but I'd love to meet any other Magic members when I hit WDW.Whats the best way to organise this nearer the time...???...My idea would be this..Set a early evening time ( example 6.00pm ) Destination Epcot..Venue..La Cava...Have a date set ( example Monday 15th October ) Here's where I run out of ideas..How will we recognise each other..So how would you plan this meet & greet.?:inlove:

I'm gonna chime in and first pick a less busy day than Monday because a lot of people, especially those with kids hit MK first, so they won't be at Epcot. La Cava...some might like it, some not.
Why not a more neutral place that does not require admission...say DTD. Could meet at one of the fountains, or over at the green sea serpent at Lego, everyone knows where that is. Everyone could talk, take pics and there are a lot of things for different participants to do, a wide variety. Some might like Earl, some HOB, some Goofy's Candy, some Ghriradelli, but all can have a nice time and it can be as brief or as long as you want to say your hellos. Then from a location like DTD everyone can either go wherever to finish out their evening at a park of their choice for fireworks, or some might like to hang out together for a longer period of time. Just my two cents worth...valued at $37.50.

Thank you sir. You were an inspiration.
It was short, and I don't think we would have "found" each other if it hadn't been for the infamous Figment pack that @figmentfan423 was sporting. @Pooh'sBuddy had a particular shirt. My suggestion--Find something that would stand out and that other people who were looking for you might notice. I'm thinking a shirt that says "Madder than a Hatter" ought to work! Oh, and the meetup spot was perfect!
Your welcome ;)

The book makes it sound like you have little chance of getting in somehow - they seem to emphasize how small the place is. Was it very crowded?
Yes,it was quite a small bar area..As you walked in,the bar was to your left and to the right was a seating area. There would have been around 20 or so folk drinking and eating what looked liked Nachos..I asked if my DS who was 14 at the time, could come in,and the bar tender said no problem..We have some weird drinking rules in Scotland..There is hotels where you've got to be 18 to it in the bar section, yet can sit opposite in the lounge section:confused:..if your 16...

I may be able to swing (No Deb not THAT Swing, geesh Jersey folks) October 2015..LONNNG way off but I'ts open now. I'd certainly enjoy meeting the Mad Hatter in person!
This is now getting scary..When me & Mrs Hatter decided to get married on Crete, many moons ago..Various people that we used to meet every year started planning their vacations around our wedding date..Turned out that 22 friends arrived from Germany to Sweden and England to Greece..The marriage took place in the town hall by the non English speaking Mayor ( we had a translator ) at exactly 6.00pm we were duly married.( The ceremony took 2 hours ) and at 5.00am the following morning, guests decided to leave the party..I was in no state to walk, and Mrs Hatter carried me over the threshold.....Be warned..October 2015...This could be a night to remember..:hilarious:

I'm very thankful for a liquor/alcohol warehouse style local chain. With my shoppers card, I can get him lots of single malt scotch at a nice discount. Maybe @real mad hatter could propose a scotch buttering up brand progression. i.e. start him on good stuff...work him up to exceptional stuff...and then the most mind blowing stuff where I finally say "so how about a trip to Disney"...without killing the Disney budget in the process.
