Media Software Question

I need some recommendations on some new software to buy! I recently got a camcorder, and I have a dig. camera. I really enjoy taking my pictures and making different slide shows out of them. (I made one for my uncle from his recent wedding, now i'm hooked!)

A few things i want in the software

Slideshow capabilities (doesn't have to be a 'slideshow', but something for a presentation/movie) with music options, and transition effects (much like power point, but hopefully with more options)

Able to incorporate video clips into the presentation.

If you have any recommendations I would be much appreciative! Also remember I'm a college student... *cough, cough*! Can't pay too much!!!

There should be a program called "Windows Movie Maker" on your computer if you have a Windows XP machine. It's very easy to use and it's free. If you don't have it run Windows Update and it should have it.

Look, I want you to listen and listen hard... (or read hard.) You have gotten me into a LOT of trouble!!!

I FOUND THIS PROGRAM ON MY COMPUTER AND I LOVE IT! I'm going to be up all night tonight playing with it! I love the video effects on it! I have to be at work early tomorrow morning, and thanks to YOU, I will probably be late!

HAHA-just kidding, but honestly, THANKS A MILLION!
