Although we can purchase Disney transfers to our upcoming cruise from Orlando airport - we would like to get onto the ship as early as possible and try to get a discounted upgrade :ROFLOL: I believe if we use the Disney transportation to the port, you don't get in until around 1 p.m. and you are not the only one on board. So, if we decide to stay near Port Canaveral the night before our cruise (our hotel would have a free shuttle to the port) what is the aproximate cost for transport from MCO to our hotel? Probably the Country Inns and Suites... And what options/providers are available? I understand it takes about an hour? Thanks!

We have used QuickSilver (you can find a link to them on the main page of this site). Used them 2 nice and have had great service. On QuickSilvers page its very easy to find out the cost.

I would look at renting a car one-way. Enterprise, Hertz, Avis, National are all up there at Port Canaveral and once you drop the car off with them they will drop you at your hotel. The thing is with one-way rentals is that they are not always bookable on the website, you have to call to do it. So if it doesn't come up as an option, call.
